Just a simple question will we stay up? Vote now. I'm going to stick my neck out say I think we will just stay up
For over 30 years I've supported Rovers and I've never felt so low. We are so **** I can't see how we are going to stay in the league.
Not a hope.. Not as long as MM is still at the helm! The only way for Rovers to stay up is, 1, Management change ASAP 2, Complete overhaul of the playing squad 3, Bring in local players who will play there hearts out for the shirt and show some passion 4 Act now sooner than later I can not believe we are in the position we are in! what has gone so wrong in the last few years?
i have voted NO. i have voted this on the basis that MM stays for the whole season. however i reserve the right to change my mind depending on if and when MM goes. sooner the better as mark1gas said.
i still dont believe we would of got relegated from league 1 if we kept PT in charge. what a mistake that was. come one then, own up, who wanted PT gone at the time he was sacked? regret it now??
I admit I was one of the ones who wanted PT gone - at the time the football on the pitch was gettin worse, the players wernt playin for the shirt, and cracks were beginning to show. Whether it was the right time for PT to go is another question!! Had we got a different succesful manager in then all could have been roses - however if PT had stayed then I personally think it would only have been delaying the inevitable! PT had a few good years (with LL) and was on the decline, and he has gone on to bigger and better things (good luck to him) but the football was gettin stale and negative, in my opinion, and I think he should have gone in the close season prior - just my opinion! Who knows - with our position then we might have got a decent new manager in to consolodate our league 1 status! At the end of the day its all "ifs and buts" - we are where we are - and it stinks! I have voted no as I have no confidence in anything to do with our club at the moment - if we go out of the league will we even be around in a few seasons time?? Will this present board be able to put on their CV - I helped Bristol Rovers go into oblivion!!! I ain't got a crystal ball, but until things change I for one will not be attending any more matches - it costs a lot of time and money to travel up from South Wiltshire, and unless I see drastic improvments they will have to go without me and my son-in-laws support and dosh! F*&K me I am SOOOOOO pissed off and angry!! AGGHHHHHHHH!!>!>!>!?!?!@!:!:!@
hindsights a wonderful thing. see todays attendance for gasheads only (minus D&R) was under 4800. was it this low when buckle was in charge?
we got 18 points from 21 games. if we get the same - 18 points from the next 21 games then that leaves us on 36 points from 42 games and 4 games to play. meaning to reach 48 points we MUST win the last 4 games.
The rest of our games for December as follows A York City H Rotherham United A Aldershot Town A Cheltenham Town From these games I can't see us even winning a game . York will be no push overs and have done relatively well since coming back into the league Rotherham have one of the best goal scoring records in the league so will be lucky to come out of that match unscathed the Aldershot match will be a definate 6 pointer and well Cheltenham we've only won once there so doesn't bring much hope for us. Well if MM is still charge next Saturday and for the rest of December then these are my predictions for the remaining fixtures this month. Sorry guys. D 2-2 A York City L 0-3 H Rotherham United L 1-2 A Aldershot Town L 1-3 A Cheltenham Town
I think MM should stay and finish what he's started rather than being allowed to return to Brighton with a big payoff. He's got enough experience to keep us up - just. If he doesn't keep us up - well, the problems at Rovers are deeper than just the manager, so they'll just have to re structure and build the club up again.
i voted for you to stay up, but you may need a change at the tiller to acheive that. ayoung player manager perchance
