I know it's too early in the season to be worrying about other teams results but we need other teams to start helping us.
We need Chelsea and Stoke to win or at least draw.
Saints V Reading game is interesting. IMO a draw is probably best for us or a Reading win. We don't want the Saints building up a head of steam.
    Thoughts?

Its sad that we need to worry about other results less than halfway through the season but we need to close the gap as quickly as possible
Saints v Reading to finish as a draw would be good

I'd say that we are in a similar way of thinking today, a draw for Qpr would be a disaster. But I'd prefer you guys to win if there has to be a winner because Wigan look like the weakest team not in the current bottom three.
Got a feeling we are going to blow it against Reading today, hope I'm wrong.

But, without a doubt, this is the biggest weekend so far for all us down at the wrong end. MASSIVE.

Would agree with the Reading win. Keep the total of the points from safety line to cross as low as possible. Fulham Newcastle need the draw, with Chelsea and Stoke needing to do the number on their opposition to do us a little favour. The season will begin to give us a little hope today I tells ya!

I always want the Rs to win, but a loss or a draw today isn't a disaster. We would get sole ownership of the 'worst start ever' record, which will make our ultimate survival even more epic and legendary.

As for the other teams, Nostradamus says little on the subject.

The interesting way to look at it is the tough games that some of us have around us ... The time we get a draw at Chelsea we could be 14th and thats not having us win every game. All the other forces involved have to come into play the league isn't looked at a whole by many. I am always content with this as how ever daft its seems anyone below half way could be relegated. Plenty of time and agree 100% with your views. A defeat this afternoon will not see us or anyone relegated. It's great before a game or just like fishing for me ... live sport we all need it ... I will shut off and fish, get frozen return home to read pages of bile on here then

We want all the relegation 6 pointers to be draws. Id rather only 2 points go to teams than 3.

I find that it's becoming increasingly difficult to post anything that hasn't already been said. Any post that has a positive tone sounds like false hope, or comes across like it smacks of desperation.

Please please please win today Rangers, we deserve it. If the footballing god is reading this please grant us victory and let all the other results work in our favour. We really are a good bunch and need to start winning for the sake of our collective sanity. Thanks in advance.

talking of streamvision - every effing week i battle with my mac trying to get a stream and nothing. I keep reading about the high quality streams everyone else seems to be watching and it's it's torture. I downloaded sopcast and went to wiziwig last week after a bit of advice on here but nothing happened. Couldn't get it to work. Occasionally i get a stream working for about 5 mins and thats it. I feel perhaps i'm missing a bit of software or my mac doesn't support the streaming software or something..i dunno. Not very techy as you can probably tell. Any advice at all???

Try a different browser, you need flash and I know apple doesnt like that. I havent missed any game so far...unfortunately.

The secret with stream sites dont rush into clicking anywhere on the page until the ad programs have run then go large screen that should block any scheduled pop ups ... if they appear do NOTHING until they have completed the 30 second run they are basic but rely on mouse interaction. Get the stream and hold onto it. Hope that works for you its does for me. Also bandwidth choking they are all at it! If you know you are doing remotely then you may need to disable your firewall as even a simple default admin will stop these sites. You are in a viper's nest on some of these sites but I run little snitch on one mac and ensure all my others and cloud are off. It's tricky but all very possible and i usually have a couple of matches up on two screens.
Software: a few sights ask you to download players etc if you do that then get little snitch or similar otherwise i guarantee you will have chatter taking place. with little snitch you can see all chatter and change the permissions... its simple but it works. A lot of these sites are for a PC audience who without knowing could have a world of pain about to happen. Sadly Macs are now more popular than anything else so whatever you do keep them peeled... if you run any protection ( I don't) then that may stop you from these sites.

Look up how to configure your router to run faster it's all out there ... In london here I should have 30Meg left unchecked I get 3, I manually configure my ports and restart and enjoy very fast speeds ... even if i use other people's routers in our street! ( i wont tell you how to break into anyone's router but it's easy)

Apple has no problem with flash video apart from on their touch devices and I can comment that the reason for that is that Flash as a program is not all together stable and hence the war between Adobe and Apple who have protected their operating system correctly imo Apple sort of won as HTML 5 came along anyway and can do more for basic web animations. We are talking video stream and codecs here Flyer old kiddy that's all

Streaming sites dont use HTML5, they use flash.
I know because flash is only switched on for me when I watch a game.

All he has to do is use a different browser because as you say, apple doesnt like flash. Streaming has nothing to do with codecs, its 100% flash.
