Scraping the bottom of the barrell here. Harry obviously doesn't think too much of Ferdinand (wouldn't blame him) or Onuoha. Onuoha has never had a run in the centre of defence, obviously failing to impress in training.
Ot his mother has just died ... I will push back on any **** on here about Onuoha ... the man is total class ... This bloody place has very little idea about players or football at times
I agree, it's a sensitive subject especially after the [alleged] communication from Garry Cook - Manchester City's Chief Executive at the time.
Get off your high horse. Where in my post did I say anything negative about Onuoha? I actually would like to see him get a chance at centre back. Didn't know about his mother. I must check the death notices in future before I post anything. It is your type of post that is turning people off this site. I wish you had some class.
Look you post what you want but sometimes expect a comment back. Your post assumes a lot and you gave your opinion about AF ... and then added in Onuoha. You then went on to suggest he hasn't impressed in training in your view based on speculation. I took care not to insult any individual but made a general comment towards the entire forum who has a number of posters that continually slag off individual players. My apologies if you have taken stuff the wrong way. I would also ask you to back up your own personal opinion with evidence that this type of post is turning people off this site.
I think you're out of order there mate. Kerry made a sensible post and wasn't even having a go at the lad. Alls he said was that if Harry's bringing this bloke in then he mustn't think much of Onouha or Ferdiand. Perfectly reasonable stance to take. Onouha has been sh*t at RB but he may well do a job at CB. As for his mother dying, with all due respect, but what's that got to do with us? If he's not able to come to terms with his grief then the Club can't wait until he does. We must get a replacement pronto. Players are just a number. Its the Club that matters.
I'm not sure this guy is what we need but considering our woeful record when defending set pieces this season it's certainly hard to see how he could make things worse. Oh, and BTW, there is no way Onouha should get anywhere near the back four without a 200% improvement on what has gone before. He truly has been a liability.
yes, it does seem to be a good indicator i agree. Great. Another not very good defender. maybe we could play him up front?
Onuoha hasn't impressed as a full back no question. However he is a centre back and we haven't seen enough of him playing in that position to write him off yet. The fact that different managers have not picked him as a centre back can't be ignored though.
Onuoha has been a total waste of money since he has been at Rangers , not sure that he would of been much better without his mothers sad death. I agree with Ciarrai_Abu's reply to the OP
Sorry to disagree with you. You have clearly seen something all last season which the rest of us have missed. I agree that he hasn't been given a decent chance in the centre of the defence but based on the fact he has no ball control, is weak in the tackle, weak in the air and is often caught napping (Hoilett's goal for Blackburn away last season being a prime example) while at full back, I for one am content to let him wait a bit longer for that chance. Even you should be able to admit that we have looked far better in the centre with Nelsen and Hill paying there together. They may not play with the flair or flamboyance that you seem to crave from all our players but most of us are quite happy to know we have solid dependable defenders to defend. The flair and excitement can come for the ones employed to be creative and score goals. I don't know what you are referring to with regard to his mother. However I doubt wehether anyone else does either and it is safe to assume as he has hardly played in the first team this season that he is not being picked on because of a loss of form caused by some personal loss.
