Rosicky's first half performance is all I will take from that nothing game. First or second hardly matters anymore with that amount of seriously good teams in the CL these days.

We have been pretty much dominated.... 68:32 possession, 8 shots to their 16, 6-2 corners to them.... it doesn't really matter where we finish. We will end up playing someone hard for sure.

It was the freaking B squad in an utterly meaningless game. Calm down FFS

Meaningless? We had a chance to finish top, so far from 'meaningless', we lost because we were **** as usual, not because it was a meaningless game, but because we were complete rubbish, AGAIN.

And whether it's meaningless or not, it was still a chance to turn things around, and start on a positive run, but all we've done, is lose again, continuing our bad form.

Yeah, "meh", tell that to yourself if it makes you feel better from the actual truth, that we have big big problems.

I will take one positive thing from the game!

Jernade Meade was impressive and I wouldn't be against seeing him in the first team and seeing how he fairs! Can't be any worse than Santos!

Meaningless? What part of having had a perfect chance of finishing top, equals meaningless?

It's all right, come up with every excuse in the book, to stay in your denial of how **** we are.

And we do we have a **** B team? An elite club should have a good squad, so even YOUR DEFENCE, shows how pathetic we are.

Little bit unlucky to lose. Although we badly fell away in the second half.

I'm just looking forward to seeing Rosicky against WBA, not sure if he'll start though.

Rosicky was always going to be replaced at half time. It's his first game back after injury. He isn't fit enough for 90 and it wasn't worth the risk of him getting fatigued & injured.

Having said that, the second half was VERY flat without him - no pace or inventiveness from the front 4 of Arshavin, Gervinho, Chamakh, Oxo.

After a first half that promised so much, the second was pretty naf. Why Wenger takes all those players so many miles on the promise of a Champions League debut then doesn't let any of them on the pitch - despite the team losing - is beyond me. He might as well have taken someone off and stuck a striker or attacking midfielder on and just given it a go. Poor tactics...again.

    Positives: Jenkinson, Vermaelen, Rosicky, Meade.
Negatives: Tactics. The entire second half. Arshavin, Gervinho, Oxo as AM.

    This wasn't a complete B team:

Gervinho, OXO, Jenkinson, Shezny, Vermaelen, Ramsey, OXO, are all first team and aren't considered B team players, that's 7 players, the majority of this side were first team players, so let's not LIE to ourselves and say we lost because it was team B.

Have we been losing recently, and lying 10th in the league as well, because of playing our team B? Give me a f--king break.

    You need to calm down.

I'm hardly a positive Arsenal fan and I understand your frustration but we have no chance of winning this competition. In my opinion, anything we do in this competition is a bonus. Also, whether we finish 1st or 2nd doesn't matter, you have to beat the best to win this competition.

I don't think we were rubbish either. Some of the players out there haven't played at all this season. They're lacking moral, confidence and fitness and they've been asked to win away in a hostile environment. Playing against a Greek home crowd is hard.

he should have brought on some youths and played Arshavin and Oxo out wide. Gervihno was disappointing..........again.
Vermont seems to be back to form though.

Dross , for a professional footballer there should be NO meaningless games.

All i can say is , if thats what we can expect from our B team , i would not wanna see our C team .

Gervinho doesnt deserve to wear the shirt anymore..

He dont earn his plane fare let alone his paycheck.

What exactly is there to be calm about? Our form is completely ****. We had a chance to finish top of the group, and didn't take that chance. Once again, it's another bad result from Arsenal, with another pathetic and disgraceful performance. Today's game was NOT meaningless, that's a complete lie, so let's not use that as an excuse to today's result and performance. What we saw today has been a PATTERN with this team, simple as that.

Most of the players on the pitch were first team players, not B team players, so you don't have that excuse either.

I pray we get Barca, so all of you saying how finishing 1st or 2nd doesn't really matter.

I pray to GOD we get Barca, oh how sweet that will be.

Jenkinson, Oxo, Gervihno aren't starters aka B team players. Rosicky played 45 minutes and Vermont and Chez weren't the problems.
