Thats is downloaded and on my to watch list.!

One show you have to watch is "luther" the best crime series I have ever watched, series 1 is mind blowing while series 2 is great but cant top the first series! the acting is superb, plus there is this female character "Alice Morgan" you never forget her name after you watch it.

    Roo, 27.

    Fave film is probably "Blow".

I like any genre to be honest as long as the film is good. I could list loads.

Also a big fan of the classics such as the Shawshank, back to the future, Star Wars, Indiana jones, godfather, and even quirkier films such as weird science.

Like Hiag, I'm also a massive fan of the walking dead. Took about a season and a half to get started, but it's quality now.

Would also recommend a series called "boardwalk empire" to anyone who's listed "gangster" movies. It's absolute quality. A mouser called Stephen graham who was in "this is England", plays Al Capone. Best series I've seen in ages.

    Good thread :)

Born in Dubrobvnik, Croatia but my family emigrated after the war to London. Studied law at uni but currently working in marketing for a Poker website. Am currently 29 years old and hope to resume my law career over the next 5 years. My first Spurs game I went to was against Dinamo Zagreb some 5 years or so. I went as a Dinamo fan as at the time I didn't really follow a team. - 'we' got thrashed and I remember Bent scoring, we left early. Little did I know at the time, but I would soon have a vested interest in Spurs. Modric and co came here, followed by Harry whom I'd always liked, we played some good stuff and I got hooked then. Most of my friends are goons and kept on saying I would stop supporting Spurs once Modric left. They were talking out their arsenal

Fave films; Shawshank, Predator, Saving P. Ryan, space odyssey 2001 etc

I'm 23, born in North Mid hospital and have lived in Edmonton all my life. Have two tattoos, my first was a THFC on my left forearm and have a half sleeve from left shoulder to just above the elbow. Left ear pierced, enjoy listening to Garage, Grime, little bit of rock and in fairness anything with a catchy sound.

First Spurs game I went to was Spurs 3-0 Leicester, Sir Les got a hat-trick which made it super special for me as I idolised him.

Love spending time with family, going out with mates, especially going abroad with them :D. Enjoy movies, don't really watch much TV in terms of soaps and programmes etc bar MOTD, The Spartacus series and a few comedy shows. Boss mentioned Luther, I did actually watch that and thought it was brilliant, Idris Elba is a great actor. Can't select a favourite movie as there's too many but ones that stand out are: Scarface, The Rock (Sean Connery film NOT the wrestler), Out for justice (Steven Seagal), Best of the Best 1, American Pie's (orignal ones, not the spin offs), The Losers (Idris Elba).

Cheers mate, was awesome (as expected), especially as my cousin's surprised me by getting tickets to the Ajax vs PSV game for us all - mental. There was a massive party before the game with flares, drums, beers and chants, apparantly happens before every game - best atmosphere I've ever been to. Really wish us Spurs fans could do something like that pre-game.

Yeah I have been to Cassidys to watch a few Spurs matches. The problem is I'm not good at watching with rival fans as I care way too much and normally we lose. I prefer to either go to the game or lock myself away on the front room by myself.

This thread has gone better than expected I feel I know you all very well now! Ha ha!
Would be good if some people who read and don't post normally wrote something. I read for ages before I actually wrote anything. Since my work lifted this site being banned I can't stop posting!

51, North London (la la la). Although when I was going regularly to Spurs in the 70s / 80s I lived in Ilford and got the 144 from Gants Hill (ah, memories!). Can't remember first Spurs match exactly but it was in the season before the one we were relegated.

Films: Local Hero (so much so that I've been to where it was filmed - magical place), Cabaret, My Favourite Year, Cross of Iron, The Dish, Lord of the Rings trilogy.

TV: Battlestar Galactica (2004 remake), When The Boat Comes In, (most of) 24, Gangsters, Father Ted.

Music: Horslips, Hawkwind, Tomita, Supertramp, Moody Blues, (plus almost anything 60s and 70s).

Work: Anything that needs doing in an office, never really had "a career" (except in the TA, which wasn't really a career but I did it for longer than any proper job I've had).

48, born in Whitechapel and lived in Bethnal Green for first few years. Moved to Redbridge in Essex and then Southwark in SE London. First game I remember live is the 73 league cup final which we won courtesy of Ralph "Bobby Charlton" Coates. Thouroughly enjoyed the game despite being behind a pillar!!! Also rememebr going to Highbury in the late 70's (Boxing Day) to see John Pratt live up to his name and set us on our way to 5-1 defeat. Saw Liam Brady score one of the great goals against us <grr>. Particularly tough as I was in the Arsenal end!!!!

    Films;
    Pulp Fiction
    Fish Called Wanda
    Life of Brian
All early Steve Martin films esp The Man with Two Brains (remember becoming hysterical when I first saw it)
    Good Night and Good Luck
    The Apartment
Dark Knight films (and graphic novels!)
    American Beauty (stunning film)
    Amelie
    Sin City
Most early Woody Allen (esp Annie Hall & Manhattan)

Yep! The Apartment, Annie Hall, which reminds me of Save the Tiger and All the Presidents Men.

On the subject of Ralph Coates, saw a "Big Match Revisited" over the weekend. Featured Orient v Brighton from '79. Among the scorers Ian Moores, Martin Chivers and Ralph Coates. Excellent game from the old second division, even featured a young Mark Lawrenson.
