Bearing in mind the amount i've had to drink today since about 1800, I think it's only fair to put forward my views about tonights game - hey, everyone else does so why not me?

It's a great and much needed 3 points alongside a half decent performance.

We played well in patches, even before the sending off - which I have to say, was utterly justified <ok>

The negative notes I jotted down went as follows...

Cisse: He's certainly not a standard-bearer for the number 9 shirt - after his electric start, he's settled down to the same inept level as Obafemi Martins.

Simpson: He is the epitomy of Mr Average - best he moves down south to be with his Mrs while we nab the Southampton right back... thanks.

Anita: He's currently our best player... Fact.

Tiote: Needs either a holiday or a massive slap. Not sure which but he's now starting to look over-rated.

Pardew has stopped the rot, we played some decent football but somehow, even though we won 3-0, it just wasn't convincing somehow.

There's only one 5 Goals.

Besides, everybody knows there isn't a real Santa Claus, it's just your mam and dad that climb down the chimney and put pressies in your sock.

Cisse played well and he is playing right side so you cant criticise him for the same reason Ba was off the boil and threw his toys out the pram!!!! It really pisses me off because he gratfs his arse off and did again last night - the goals will come again.

Simpson I agree

Tiote was better than he has been and will get better - we need him don't allow a goal to think Bigi is ready yet

Anita was class, however I think he played well along with Marv as they were on the same wavelenght and I hope to see it again.

It agree, can't criticise cisse I wasn't playing in get right position, good runs and he was there for our second Ba just got to it first. Simpson wasn't great although I still think he's good back up if we are to sign a new right back. Anita has been impressing more and more, bit more optimistic about Fulham now as I thought we'd struggle tonight.

If Ba is injured for Fulham, then Cisse through the middle with Marv on the left and (hopefully) Benny on the right would be an interesting line up. Tenner bet he plays Shola and Cisse though

According to chronicle, how reliable I don't know, Ba will be fit for Saturday.

"One important piece that Alan talked about – other than Newcastle have been unlucky all season with injuries wand have received a lot of unfair criticism – was a brief report on the three new injuries Newcastle picked up tonight – to top stars Cheick Tiote, Davide Santon and Demba Ba.

This is what Alan said about those injuries:

“For us, we have three little strains, which we don’t think are too serious thankfully.” “We took Cheick off as a precaution and the other two are not too bad.”"

I was happy with the performance, but I'm now even angrier at Pardew than ever. The tosser has been ignoring what everyone else has been saying for the previous four games, we play better with it on the deck. We haven't become super confident all of a sudden, we haven't got lots of players back, we just aren't playing tactically inept football. To me, he deserves no credit for "turning it around", because he should have been insisting on how we played last night as a matter of course.

The positives for me was that we looked like the team of last season, something I was beginning to give up hope on, and that they thrived under the more varied attacking tactics than Pardew has presented us with for the last few games. See Alan you freak, stop playing it long ALL the time!

Marv was class in spells and showed that if he didn't waddle like a duck instead of running, he'd be like Ben Arfa the second coming... This I willingly offer Pardew much praise for, because although it might appear stupid leaving Marv out all the time, it gives him time to adapt to the game and work on stuff, just like he did with Ben Arfa... Marv's time is now, and he needs to step up and play like that consistently now...

P.s
I hope WP has fully eaten his words regarding Marv... Last night was f-ing freezing and Marv fancied it and played well, thus I'm right
