Fulham Away.

Anybody going to the Fulham game? Just decided to go on the supporters coach instead of by train for £100.00. It means saving £60 on the travel so actually pays for the ticket for the game and the refreshments when I get there.

Just hope the weather doesn't get any worse and the game gets postponed.

Terrible when you've got to wander around looking for a pub to have some refreshments.

 

It's a very friendly fixture, definitely one of the best away games I've been to!

 

Got some funny stories to tell about my visits to Craven Cottage, some interesting ones too. Not for the forum though.

Used to know a Fulham nut back in the day, finished almost every sentence he said with, "Gordon Bennett!"

Always go to Fulham away always like the visit despite us mostly losing. The last time we won Joey Barton scored that penalty there I remember being directly centre to the goal for that one. Will be joining you in the Away section; hopefully it'll be a decent game. Shame it hasn't been much of a sell out.

 

The tickets still aren't on sale to the general public so there's still time for them to sell out. I enjoy my visits to Craven Cottage and hope they will sell out and we'll have a great atmosphere there.

The oldest football fan I've ever spoken to was a Fulham fan. I was sitting by the river before the game once and he plonked himself down beside me and told me of how his dad had taken him to the games before the war and how he'd kept going ever since. He'd been hooked since his first game and although he was then living out of London he still travelled in for every match. A very interesting guy and with a great story to tell and with some fantastic memories of his team.

I know one or two of our guys that take their kids to the games, and I hope one day they'll be able to pass on some interesting stories of their visits to the games to another generation.

 

By the way, anybody that's travelling with the BP to the game, the departure time from SJP has been changed from 1:00 pm to 11:00 am.

Be terrible to miss the coach.

As a Fulham fan living in Morpeth, I have some split loyalties here.............but no, even after 28 years, I suppose I'm still a cockney to you guys.

I'm sure both our teams will move back up the table in the next few games
