A game of two more contrasting halves than today?

First half was as bad as I have ever seen any premier league team perform, you weren't any worse than in the 5-1 imo.

Second half, transformed, three times as good as any of us have seen this season from either of our teams. Poor finishing and the lack of a slice of luck let you down today, good value for a point.

One thing I did want to pick up on was Fletcher. The commentators reckoned there was no injury, why the hell did MON bring him off? He's one of your best 3 players. If Wickham had a chance to play alongside him it could have been the key to unlocking the Norwich defence, leading the line on your own is a very tall order for a teenager.

Ankle injury but hopefully was just precautionary, funnily enough I thought Wickham did a better job leading the line then Fletcher did.

    Oh the ironing!

How many threads do you make where over half of the posts are by your good self? Why don't you make yet more threads telling us what bets you have allegedly made and how you have allegedly covered yourself and how much you are allegedly going to win because we all really do care about that you know.

Me too. Wickham controlled the ball well, ran the line well. He starts on Saturday for me regardless of injuries. He deserves a chance after that yesterday. Can I also say, luck has been off our side since Demba Ba equalised for us. West Brom, Everton, yesterday and even QPR game. With a little slice of luck in those games we'd be at least 4 points better off. Everyone says you make your own luck?? Well we played QPR who had an awful lot of defensive luck against us so how did they "earn" that luck? They're bottom of the league.

All I will say is that if all of our luck evens itself up we'll be top half by Xmas.

Wickham against Norwich was far better at leading the line than anything I have seen of Fletcher to date. Obviously Fletcher scores goals (which ain't a bad thing) but if he is unable to lead the line in a way that the midfield can be brought into the game then playing Fletcher in a 4-5-1 isn't ever going to work. So we have to put two upfront or replace Fletcher with Wickham for a few games. Wickham can score to and if Wickham can hold the ball up for the midfield, each and everyone of our midfielders are goal scoring midfielders.

It's like when we relied on Bent under Bruce... The difference is that Bent was more prolific than Fletcher. Oh the irony if a Bruce signing comes good and does the business to help us stay up!

If Bruce had the money to buy a proven striker the season he bought Wickham he may well have still been the boss.

The question should be has there ever been a more annoying **** as you on our board?

The answer of course is no. You lost the right to an even hand here a long, long, long time ago as far as I am concerned and will receive dogs abuse until you piss off completely.

    ****er.
