Instead of predict the score, crowd, team selection etc what about predicting when we will be shown on FLS? For me this week will be something like this - Palace at Posh - Holloways first game in charge. Long interview with him after the game. Ipswich v Burnley - Big Micks first game at home v another new manager. Long interviews with Big Mick and Dyche after the game. Lester v Forest - local ish derby.Wes Morgan (best defender in the division according to NP) back at his old club. Long interview with Morgan after the game. Cardiff v City - quick clip of Steve Bruce getting off the team coach. Several pictures of Malquie Mackay looking despondent at the loss of their 100% home record. A clip of the injured Craig Bellamy in the stand. Manish asking Steve Claridge about whether the change in kit colour for Cardiff was really a good idea. Manish asking SC if he needs his FLS mug topping up with some more tea. A quick clip of City fans celebrating. Thats it. Then on to the rest.
Do they just do one main feature game, a couple of other big ones, and then everybody gets 30 seconds (even if they do them in a few batches of games)? If so: Blackburn vs Birmingham as feature match. Middlesbrough vs Wednesday from last night, and Leicester vs Forest as their other two games. P'boro vs Palace Cardiff vs us Barnsley vs Huddersfield Wolves vs Brighton Millwall vs Derby Ipswich vs Burnley Blackpool vs Bolton Leeds vs Watford (Obviously Charlton/Bristol City are playing tomorrow)
So they've started with Blackburn/Birmingham, then "extended" highlights of Middlesbrough/Wednesday. Next up the goals from P'boro/Palace, Cardiff/us, and Barnsley/Hudds. Wish my PL effort started that well.
Sorry to ruin the game but they show extended highlights of the games televise plus occasionally one other they choose. The highlights part then tends to go on league position order from top to bottom.
Sshhh, don't tell him my secret, wanted to see how many weeks I could get almost the complete running order right before he twigged.
Just watched it and i'm pretty sure we hit the bar and had a goal disallowed! Nice of them to not bother showing either!
Could not care less if we get 30 mins or 30 secs. We get what we get but for sure if City stay where they are then the profile will be lifted further up. After the Cardiff game i would be happy just to see Korens goal again and then move onto another match. I was there and the game was poor, very poor. Not what you expect from teams 3rd and 4th in the championship. Simpsons goal was good but that apart we deserved to lose the game. imo
I'm sorry but I hate this deserved to lose cr@p! We've had other teams over a barrel this season and still lost! The rub of the green from the refs hasn't gone our way for ages and yesterday's goal by Simpson keeps it going. A goal right on half time would have dinted Cardiffs confidence and might have swung the balance of play.
Sounds like a poor game, but if we had got a draw from both Wolves and Cardiff games, I think most would have been happy. As it is we took 3 points from the 2 games, rather than 2 points from 2 draws, so not a bad return so put it behind us and move on.
To be honest, we've played and lost to Boro, Leicester and Cardiff, but we have to play them at the KC and I fancy us to beat them on our turf.
Coverage of City v Forest last night was rubbish. Sorted out the question of who gave away our penalty, but not whether it was handed in for our's. (Maccadona says not in post match interview). Didn't even show Steve Bruce getting off the bus. Rubbish.
Yeah but it we got to see him signing pics of him in his united days! Id say that was close enough haha
