We out-played you first half but the third goal was always going to be crucial, had we got it I reckon we would have been out of sight. As it was, it gave you a lift and credit to you for that second half performance. With regard to our first goal, yes there was a suggestion of offside but your guy handled the ball so was defo pen in any event. I know you're pissed off at the moment Nemo, but you're the one who should wake up and smell the coffee. We've beaten some top sides, are eight unbeaten and CH has sorted out a mean defence for us. No-one likes losing but just be a bit more gracious in defeat like your fellow posters
Sorry mate no matter what, I wont relegate us before the fact. I have seen much worse than this team and will always hope for the best. That second half proved things can be turned around. Niall was saying the wingers once again were turning and passing backward first half. Then when they came out for the second they started putting pressure on the defenders and attacking. Maybe just maybe MON told them to get out there and do what they are paid for?

Second goal was down to a 2nd choice and a 3rd choice centre back pairing out of touch with each other. Cuellar was brought in as back up and Kilgallon was on his way out of the club, if we'd had Brown and Bramble we would probably have easily contained Norwich. One of the problems of the Bruce legacy is that he bought crocked central defenders and we are still suffering becuase of it. Whether this is why we were so fearful of going forward in the first half I don't know but Quinny summed it up after the game. If we have a go at teams we'll be alright. I don't think there is another team in the premiership that is as negative as we were in 1st half. Chelsea will be there for the taking IF we have a bloody good go at them. Your player headed it, Bassong was offside (1st thing that happened) the ball hit Cuellers arm, could have been a pen, but the 1st incident means it shouldnt have been. bassong scored, shouldnt have counted, should have been offside. but in all honesty if we had went in 5-1 down at half time, I dont think anyone would have been surprised.
You were unlucky to go home empty handed but for heavens sake when you are given an open goal you miss I would worry about that lack of confidence/ skill / composure
