No the most exciting of draws, but to be honest I think it's better than getting say Watford or Derby at home or away at Charlton. The all Championship ties seem a tad boring, at least we get to play against someone we're not going to face this season. Not to be taken lightly but we have a decent chance of getting through to the next round and hopefully a chance of getting a big name.

Don't worry...we'll have them home and away next year.....for now, let's look forward to whipping someone piss poor at home
Orient heard the draw before KO and thought 'sod that'....Coming to the KC for a hammering...No thanks..Alferton have hit the bar and are giving the Os the runaround.
take this kind of draw every day of the week...dont see why people want a "big team"....im happy with the most winnable tie, even tho theres no such thing as a certainty as last year showed.....plenty of time for man utd or liverpool in the final..
I hope we either win playing our fringe/reserve players,or lose if were going to play the first team. We must consentrate on the league. Hey you knew someone would say it,the cup is no more than a distraction these days. Sad but true.
obviously a plastic that hasn't been to their home ground. It doesn't come much grimmer that East LanDan. Maybe Damascus or the Gaza Strip but its a close call.
really sad for us older supporters for whom the cup was the highlight of the season. much though I wish it weren't true it sadly is. And the real shame is that any team like us that gave it a real go could actually do quite well, generate some interest and benefit from the experience. Alfreton back to 2-3 now.
around 11 years ago Orient were in Hull for a match & were staying at the Jarvis.. so was I because my family were there for my sister's wedding bash. bumped into them at breakfast..
Get were ya coming from Cat but it shouldnt be a distraction. What i hate is every manager weve had lately has pretended to be having a go in the press before hand. Peter Taylor before Villa. Pearson and Shakey before Wigan(I think) Barmby before Crawley. Then afterwards spout the old leagues the prioroty bollocks. Its one ****ing game, go out and have a go. I'd rather they put in 4 or 5 kids or played four forwards and just go all out attack. Never mind if we got beat 4-2 just go for it.
