If Mccormack stays fit we have a chance of challenging for promotion

Mccormack in my opinion could get into any side in this division, over the past few months we have missed his creativity and ability in possession in the final 3rd, which is why we have been giving the ball away so cheaply. NW is starting to build a very formidable side, if we can secure all the loan signings and then maybe suplement them with a couple more signings in January, who knows? Maybe we could even challenge for top two

I'm a great fan of Rosco, but I think your comment is a little unfair on Diouffy.

I think Diouf's decision making is sometimes poor, he doesn't pass when others are in lots of space, and his goal scoring is abit woeful as well, although Mccormack doesn't have a great goal scoring record either

I disagree, comparing both of those players equally, I feel Ross is a far better player. They both offer completely different things to the team but I think we rely more on Ross. If diouf is to get into the side it'd have to be on the right side of midfield for me.

And I almost agree with the OP. Think he could make it into every team in the league bar maybe 2 or 3

I prefer Ross over Diouf because the way Diouf slows the game down all the time annoys the hell out of me. Sometimes it is necessary but other times he needs to release the ball quicker otherwise our attacks are too slow.

The way Ross beat men yesterday, with at least 2 classy nutmegs was quality. Then there was his chips in behind to set Byram and Green away that split open the defence. Not to mention his impeckable 1st touches haha. Was a brilliant all round display from him

I like the fact we have got those two or three extra players in - Tate and Thomas and Hall - who bring solidity at the back and speed on the wings - and we have that "team" that can deliver.

It was all we needed - but why did we get players like Gray and Varney? They seem strange choices to me when it would have been better to wait for the right type of player.

Diouf is a good player, and we now have people who can come off the bench and turn things around, whether Hall or Diouf or McCormack. Tonge is looking phenomenal in midfield, with Austin to come back, and Norris is really showing what he can do. Plus we have Pearce to come back.

We need all these players- it's a tough winter coming up - but my glass is getting fuller now we have those few extras who bring the quality <ok>

Think Gray was only ever there because he's pretty much a like for like replacement for Becchio, and to help cover for Somma while he's injured. Plus at the time Warnock wasn't sure if Poleon was up for it. I think he's done alright when he's played really, but obviously we do need better. As for Varney, his CV suggests he's a much better player than he's showing. However, it's not working out for him for whatever reason. A shame, but not a travesty. It'll be difficult for him to be given another chance though if the team keep playing like this. Thought he looked okay up top for a couple of games though to be fair to him.
