Good to see Lucas but but possibly Shelvey on the wing, unless Suarez is pushed wide and Shelvey playing as the central striker.
Exciting team, although with Lucas back I would of tried Sahin instead of Shelvey and put arguably our best team out

I'm sure we would have learnt our lesson with Lucas after so long out that we wouldn't rush him back. Interested to see how the front 3 line up and where Shelvey/Gerrard play. At least with Lucas there we might also see the best of Allen playing slightly more forward.

I doubt it. Could be Selvey as an F9 between Suarez and Sterling. But Gerrard on RF would please me. I agree with the guy who wants to see Lucas and Sahin together. But I would put Sahin ahead of Allen.
Maybe Lucas was not rushed. We were told before he would return in late November. He got an extra week. Our manager, coaches and fitness team are to smart to risk it if he is not ready.
Sam Alladyce had been preparing for that moment for years. I wonder if he did a hand gesture when the third goal went in.
