You're missing the point completely of the whole problem . By saying this you've dropped to his level.
I know it was a joke. That's obvious. You don't understand what I meant. You are basically calling him gay in a jokey way like it's a bad thing to be gay. So you are homophobic
Good thing I don't get embarrassed and still think I'm right then isn't it. Stupid joke to be making.
That's funny, because that's exactly what you're doing right now. SeanDCFC made a homophobic comment and I was humouring him. Here, this is what homophobia looks like: Thank you Sean, for that beautiful comedic timing. RGM, try reading through this thread again, from the beginning, and perhaps look up the definition of irony first. Read and re-read all of my comments slowly, and perhaps read them out aloud to yourself if you're struggling.
Being accused of being homophobic isn't "nowt" in my book. I'm genuinely sorry if you don't want to read this ****, but I'm not going to sit idly by and let people defame be like that.
To be different in any walk of life will attract negative comments as people fear what's different. When lads go to football they often try to be the big man and any difference is targeted. Even after all the racism publicity there are still morons making monkey gestures. If someone was to comfort they would be destroyed week in week out. It probably needs an ex pro who is respected to come out first and start crossing that bridge.
That Sunderland fan recently who was making monkey gestures, his excuse was that he was doing the funky chicken.
