We're taking the FA Cup seriously, make no mistake about that. Seriously, we are. We'll be fielding a team capable of beating Carlisle.

Anyone connected with the club should avoid the above comment or any variation of it!

I'm already practising my 'Thank God we didn't beat lowly .......... in the 3rd round. A cup run would be too much of a distraction when we need to concentrate on the league'.

Lincoln City / Mansfield Town ? either would be a nightmare actually. A good left field draw would be either Luton or Dorchester game.

Never had a good day in Lincoln when it comes to football that is.

Worst possible draw would be Brighton or Millwall away. Best would be top Prem side or Non-League at home.

I'd love it to be Dorchester away because of family down there. Huddersfield away would be good, otherwise a Premier League team at home would be good!

I'm plumping, like a few others for our groundhog day of Wigan away. Nothing beats an all blood and thunder Fa Cup match played out by 2 reserve teams in front of a packed 5000 audience.....in all seriousness, someone really **** at home would do nicely, it showed a few years back that if you get a lucky run, all of a sudden you're in with a shot at a Wembley semi final, unless some twat ref ****s you over

If its Wigan away then i am not goimg.!! Simples, Fact.

Would rather go shopping than go to Wigan for a Cup game. Only those who went last time can understand my feelings. The whole day was a nightmare, especially for those who dont own a 4 x 4.

Lincoln and Mansfield both consider themselves to having 'a few lads'

Sincil Bank - kids in their main stand at the half way line with 'musicians' baiting the Hull throng - attempts to hijack us in their tenfoot behind this stand.

Remember the Old Bill having their helmets knocked off as they ushered us back to coaches parked away from the ground down some dark dinghy lane in the 80's - happy days.

Didn't we even get beat there in our 'first' promotion season in 2003-04?

As for Mansfield - recall the opening day fixture, first Hateley game, boiling hot day, 2500 city supporters herded into a tight uncovered away end - well hammered 2-0.. then a night game hammered again 4-2 under Little, our first defeat of the season I think. Micheal Reddy scored for us. Craig Disley playing for Stags and still playing for Grimbo now -looked a good prospect.

    Happy days.

Do Lincoln still play the Dambusters theme tune before kick off and then have that air raid siren go off during the match?

    Harrogate away for me.

As for Mansfield, remember us losing to them twice 9 years ago and that tart Liam Lawrence getting on the scoresheet. Their ground was ****e as well. There was too alot of us packed in that small stand down the side that day.

I'd rather be beaten to death with an elephant turd, than have to go to Luton.

I remember that game too, had the bloody sun in my eyes for most of the game! In a season of many highs that away game at Mansfield was one of the few lows.
