fair play Routs was awesome but Pablo is my MOM. He made us tick and was involved in everything good we put together, some of his passing was bordering on genius!

My point about moore is that he should get a few games to see if it works with this new team, if it doesnt then it may well be time to move on, he has talent thats for sure

I noticed on match of the day there was the minimal spunking over our first half performance!! GOOD !! i much prefer us flying under the radar and not having these people break down our tactics and play all the time!! Laudrup was beaming with pride in his interview, reckons the first half was the best he has seen for a number of years as a coach :)

It was pretty awesome wasnt ti :)

Conceding a goal with the last kick of the first half was poor and it gave them fresh hope for the second half. If they had scored early second half it would have become a very tense affair. But credit where it's due, we ground it out second half without giving them many clear-cut opportunities.

The first half was one of the best displays of dominant football I have seen at the Liberty.

MOTD is just getting worse that poor! minimal analysis unless you're based in Manchester and piss poor preparation. They reckon this is the first time Michu has played the lone striker role this season?!? someone give that man the internet so he can do some research!

It was telling that their reporter at the game recognised what he had just seen, phrased his question to Laudrup along the lines of "can you believe that first half".
Did I hear correctly? Laudrup said he hadn't seen a side play like that in a long, long time? Sure he said it was the first time as a manager that he couldn't find fault with the (1st half) performance and just enjoyed watching it.

Although from MOTD's coverage in the studio the neutral fan would have thought it was all about the space between WBA's centre-halves....also Steve Clarke was hailed as the wise man for effectively saying "it wasn't our day, move on".

We get nowhere near enough credit. Is it 'cos we're Welsh or because a larger portion of their viewers support the other Premier teams?
Or is it just that they're ****ing clueless?

Agreed. Pablo is just getting better and better. I am also impressed with Davies. To be thrown to the wolves like that. He had some good attacking display tonight and wasn't so bad defensively either.

I agree with what some of you say, that we are a one half team. In several of our matches this year, we have had a terrible/mediocre first half and then a good second half. Even the first match of the season, 5-0 against QPR, the first half wasn't that impressive. If you look at the first and second half separately we have 3 wins, 6 draws and 5 losses in the first half, while we have 6 wins, 5 draws and only 3 losses in the second half. It seems like we have been a total different team in the second half. It's really nice to see a close to perfect first half!!

We don't that's true , but I'd rather it that way , lets just keep plugging away and improving under ML and keep our team together , already other teams are coveting Michu and Pablo, lets be greatfull we are not highlighted so we consolidate and then reinforce without making too much of a fuss . Otherwise snake and his ilk will come sniffing.

West Brom's tactic of cramming all the players on the pitch from a goal kick into an area the size of a handkerchief on the right side or left side didn't work...

Actually, I thought Hansen was quite complimentary and they did take the trouble to show replays of the goals etc. They can't watch every minute of every game and, had they watched the entire first half, I'm sure they would have been showering plaudits on the team. It WAS pretty awesome as you say, Norway.

Up to 8th and if they want to extend the Champions league to the top 7 EPL teams, bring it on I say. Imagine that? Champions League at the Liberty. Didn't get to watch it today but it sounds like a wonderful performance.

New jersey you missed the best half of total football that I have ever seen live the movement, prisoners of passing was an absolute pleasure and the east stand were also on fire that drummer must have arms like Garth relentless.

If we can.keep this up then we can really push.on this year

well done the whole team even when.we made the subs there was still no lack of cohesion, we now have some strength in depth

    Miguel, Miguel Michu <ok>

To be honest, I'm happy with the lack of media recognition. Let's stay under the radar :D

You could expand that song a bit, I'm sure. Brought out a good laugh round the ground. How about:

You got mud on your face
    You need no space
To bang in goals all over the place

What a great game. What a joy to watch. Marvelous. The first half was probably the best football played this season by any team. Second half was also very good under different circumstances.

I guess it's time to look upwards in the ranks.

When Michu scored my household raised the roof with shouts of MICHU, MICHU, CHOOCHOO. "Choochoo" sounds like a good chant to greet our top goal scorer with when he scores at the Liberty.
