No problem, I do believe if CH keeps us in the PL for the next two seasons, and not merely surviving in 16th or 17th place, some other PL teams will be looking closely at him and if by any chance they are top half finishes, it kind of narrows down his options if he wants a bigger challenge and to my mind Spurs would be the perfect fit for him <ok>

No offence was taken, I just found it an odd comment for the very reasons you pointed out, both parties are finding their feet <ok>

Ah, the 2nd season syndrome. That was being applied to us and Swansea this season but not QPR, can't work that one out yet <laugh> I think us and the Swans will make it safe before the end of April.

He was a bit unlucky having Mike Ashley at Newcastle as his boss, did well enough though to suggest he could manage at a higher level given sufficient backing from his paymasters. Toon fans still love him and never have anything bad to say about him, must have done something right <ok>

If there is one criticism of his interviews I would level at him is that he makes every away game appear extremely hard to get anything from. Maybe that is because we are only getting draws and not wins on the road. We outplayed Villa something rotten a few weeks ago and only came out with one point but the interview was the same, hard place to go.......etc. when the reality was we should have totally humiliated them on the day. It's his style and I guess what makes him likable from the outside.

Management is about character and personality and if a man doesn't have those in the right quantities and direction then he won't succeed. CH has both. Imo Gareth Bale does also and will make a good soccer coach one day. Well spoken and comes across well.

That's an interesting point, I've been thinking about making a thread on here about current players in our squad who you can see making good managers/coaches but I've been too busy recently. If someone sees this and has the time to start a thread then please, go ahead! <laugh>

Personally I've been impressed with AVB so far in most aspects, and I think he is good enough and progressive enough to get us winning things if he is given time. Id like to see him last 5/6 years at the least. When he's taken us as far as he can it will be Steffen's turn to lead us to glory.

Bale, really? I've always got the impression that he doesn't have much going on between the ears... Also he is reportedly pretty shy, which is visible in the video with that boy at training. Based on examples, im not sure shyness and managerial ability are very compatible.
