If I'm honest, if we need to worry about Villa's results, we deserve to go down. These two are flippin' awful!
Both teams were woeful again. Sunderland couldnt even beat QPR, we have to pick up atleast 3 points in our next 2 games.
A point tmrw now looks v valuable. I can see both villa and Sunderland improving as the season progresses
I suspect if we beat Sunderland Sunday, serious questions could start to be asked about MoN. Strange enough last season when we played sunderland they were in terrible form which eventually led to Steve Bruce's sacking.
Who can forget our home game against Sunderland - didn't we win 4-2??? Would love that result on Sunday.
We beat em 2-1 with Barnett getting the first goal. I remember it vividly as I had 50p on that at 175/1!!

I'm happy that Villa won. I think we need as many teams at the bottom not picking up points so that in a few games time there might be a very big gap. At the moment we have 10 & 6 on the bottom two. Win tonight and that gap looks like a chasm. Even a draw tonight as better or no worse than the teams below us. I'm afraid for much of the season we have to assume we are in a battle to stay up. I agree with Martin O'Neill when he says the bottom 12 are in a relegation fight.
