Is it just me or has hughes not said a word since hes been sacked, iv seen nothing, warnock came out 2 days after and said a few things, but nothing from hughes at all
He's always looked depressed, hopefully not another Speed case. Not that I care about him, just want to see him fail dismally managing in League Two.
Hughes never had anything interesting to say while he was manager, why would that be any different now. Worst manager we have ever had. Good riddance. If he gets a job managing my local under 11s, it would be a step too high for him. Absolute crap from day one. If I saw him in the street I would have to resist the urge to give him a slap. Tosser!!!
To be honest, I've got nothing against Hughes apart from his poor performance. But I expect him to be professional about this situation and not slag qpr off. Hopefully he proves me right!
Hughes was the wrong managerial choice for us that is all. I have no doubt in my mind that he put his all into it but it just didn't work out at our club. This does not make him a tosser or c**t or whatever and I have no reason to wish him ill or to see him fail elsewhere as well. Some of the things said on this board (like the name calling) are wholly unjustified and down right ugly.
I wish him no ill, but I hope for footballs sake, he never gets another job in management. The guy is a tosser when it comes to managing a football club. I would be a tosser for trying to do the same, even at under 11's level. Thing is, I KNOW I'm not up to the job, he apparently hasn't realised that he isn't either.
You won't hear any bitterness from Hughes regarding his exit from QPR. He planned meticulously for it.
Agree whole-heartedly Frome. Some of the things said were childish and ugly. Respect to him for trying his best, even if it wasn't good enough, and for not getting involved in undignified comments.
Did he try his best? Claiming the team is "meticulously prepared" and then fielding four midgets in midfield against West Ham, a frankly lazy transfer policy and constantly burying his head in the sand week after week. I genuinely think he was angling for a payoff for some time.
