Firstly, we need to win a buckin game. Then we need to find a new CB somewhere. The we need to learn how to defend corners and free kicks. If the team plays with any purpose like yesterday we have a fighting chance. Anything else and ........................
agreed. bit depressing that the other relegation contenders are beginning to show some real grit and determination. At least we had Wolves to make us feel a bit better last year.
If the team starts playing to it's potential then we'll be fine. Two thirds of a season to catch up 7 points is nothing. I'd take the position we're in now over the position we were in with 10 games to go last season... I suppose we've yet to see whether there will actually be a change in performances now harry has joined. Hopefully we'll have a better idea by the end of week!
If 'Arry is reading this (unlikely I know) he must be rubbing his hands in glee - even if we get relegated it will be MH and TF's fault, not his. I really don't think he would have taken this job if he did not genuinely believe he has the quality in the squad and the personal knowledge and skill to get us out of this pit. It's only November, lets see where we are in May...a couple of wins in the next few games and things start to look different. And this from an 'outed Arry doubter' Col! Really looking forward to Villa next weekend, but we better ****ing well win!

That's the point though....a couple of wins and we could well still be bottom. I don't share this "it's only November" view point. We are deep, deep in it and it will be amazing if we can get out. Oh....and it IS Mark Hughes's fault imo.
this....... we have to win 3 games and hope results go our way just to get out the bottom 3 that is is a big ask already in November
I'm not usually given to bursts of irrational optimism. But I have to confess to sporadic bouts of that emotion since Redknapp's appointment was confirmed. Frankly, the team is in far worse a position than when Warnock left, but Redknapp coming on board has me feeling far happier than I felt when Hughes was recruited. I have this vision of a collection of poorly-motivated, disparate individuals having their heads filled with statistics, codes and narrow parameters within which to execute complex instructions, all delivered in dour monotone by a Welsh choral society. Then, suddenly, all that is swept away and in its place are simple instructions to go out, enjoy yourself, be the matchwinner you believe yourself to be and create something special. Time for my medication, nurse...
But there are 25 games left so there is definitely hope. Some of those games are against our rivals so win them and that is one of the three taken care of
36 points from 25 games is more than possible. If 40 points will be safety that is. Reading will be odds on relegated so all we have to do is finish above two others, simples innit.
Absolutely. All is not lost...I'm just not too confident of us pulling it off. Mind you, get 4 points from the next two games and I may just start to believe!
