Not all Pardews fault

While I'm convinved he's lost the dressing room and his tactics are well out of place I just wanted to have a pop at the clubs owner (again) we were too tight and didnt back Alan after we had a miracle season and finished 5th. This proves Mike Ashley has learned nothing in his time and we could well lose considerable money if relegated.

I think the situation is so bad now we are yet to realise how horrible the next two games and months will be.

I'd also prey and hope the club and Pardew realise that the gap between our green players and our purple players in about two divisions.

That green and purple player spoken of by Lambiass basically means, Premier League standard footballers and non talented league 1 players on next to nothing wages there to make up the numbers and save a few bob.

You're missing the point! we stood still this summer or in my opinion went backwards - I'd rather we had Gutherie and Best over Anita and Amalfitano any day. I'm saying Ashley has made a mistake in not backing Pardew at all. We will struggle to keep the best players like Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Ba and Santon. If we sell them and replace them we are no better off so weve basically ruined everything those lads acheived for us last season and if I was them I'd be off. This club is not ambituous and the players all know that now. This will be exactly what Ashley wants of course as he can cash in, and replace them with the next line of young cattle.

 

At this stage of the season it does for me. But even if you are right, the league table has us 14th, and yet you are saying that on this trajectory we will go down. How do you figure?

I don't think we'll go down, although on current form it is a possibility and not something we should hide from. We've got 6 points from a possible 24 mate, that's relegation material.

 

Every side will have a slump at some point in the season, we went through a 7 game period of relegation form last year aswell, it's way, way too early to be making any kind of calls for me.
