    Bruce's Sunderland record
    Played: 98
    Won: 29
    Drawn: 28
    Lost: 41
    Win percentage: 30%

    O'Neill's Sunderland record
    Played: 46
    Won: 16
    Drawn: 15
    Lost: 15
    Win percentage: 34.78%

To be fair its still in essence Bruce's team and squad so there isn't exactly any surprises from this only to add that one man lost his job with such **** stats and the other is in grave danger of losing the fans very quickly if results don't change very quickly. Either way when you analize the stats its not very good reading for both of them.

MoN is still my choice as manager but this is a harsh climate to operate in and if he doesn't start to pick up points, especially at home, then he isn't going to get the time to build his own team IMO. If we just scrape survival this season, playing 1 striker in a predictable boring formation, then I don't think the majority of fans will want to see him continue next season for sure.

I can't think of a good realistic option at the minute who could come in if Mon went.

Martinez would be ideal but if not the world is a big place mate

I bet there is a young up and coming manager who is doing fantastic in another top league out there

Ole Solskjaar is one to name, there will be plenty

It just goes to show that you can read into anything with stats, the ones above show Bruce's loss percentage at 41.8% but O'Neill's is 32.6%. So over the course of a Premiership Season, O'Neill would come out with a few more points than Bruce as he plays safer and gets more draws.
The midfield is frustrating, but I think MON will get it right in time - so far he hasn't signed anyone who doesn't look good enough for SAFC abd he has shifted some mediocre signings out.
Another 2 transfer windows and I think we will see a team that we can be proud of.

We are in yet another relegation fight. No-one will come here, as usual.

Join the Black Cats- luckily 4th bottom before Christmas.

    Where do i sign?

I truly hope he gets that time to show us why he is such a highly rated manager IMO. Ironically this is his worst ever period as a manager and it had to come at SAFC didn't it?

    Only at Sunderland eh? Lol

    We'll be alright.

WBA are a very, very good side, we simply must nick Morrison off them.

12 hots on target points to a bit of gelling, although there were massive periods when the midfield, full of real talent, were lost.

I am just not worried? Mabye I'm mad but I'm happy with mon and I think we looked good enough today. Silly errors and a dodgy pen were all that stopped a good result. West Brom have all the confidence and it showed, they are also a bloody good side. We will recover , we are a mid tabel side at best, where do people expect us to be.
