It's not on the official site yet but it's on sky sports news tv and the official Facebook page. Can't copy and paste from the Facebook page but it says Bowen and Nidszieki are taking over for the united game.
Facebook posts: Queens Park Rangers Football Club has today (Friday) terminated the contract of manager Mark Hughes with immediate effect. #QPR Mark Bowen and Eddie Niedzwiecki will take charge of the R's trip to Manchester United in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday afternoon. #QPR
well so much for super sunday its super friday, mixed feelings don't like to any manager get the boot but something had to happen.
The whole situation isn't ideal and I don't like to see it happen, either. Of course, I wanted him to be successful but I guess a lot is at stake here and the owners can't afford to be sentimental.
Not sure it took that long. TF was always going to give Hughes the Saints game. After that dismal performance and result, his fate was sealed. This week has been about QPR getting contractual ducks in the row for shipping out Hughes (and sounding out replacements)
Just heard it on the Beeb. Just when I was getting comfortable thinking it wasn't going to happen, it happens.
First step QPR have made forward this season- good luck. Hughes has brought in some talent- just has no idea how to make use of it- if you can bring in a tactician then all should be fine. Beyond tomorrow, I expect results will start to pick up.
