Was listening to the clyde 1 phone in last night for about 10 minutes max (that was enough). Where do they find these people honestly. First guy I heard was A Gers fan I think, I think that because he was sucking up to King & Traynor, anyway I burst out laughing when he said "Keevins said something that shocked me that much I nearly dropped my radio" <laugh> He was actually cut off shortly after for apparently threatening 2 journos.

The 2nd guy was ****ing infuriating. A tim banging on and on and on about Ra big tax case. What a ****ing walloper. I think it was yer man albatross or maybe harryhood. He couldn't understand simple explanations into the case outcome. Did anyone hear it? Why don't they just cut these fuds off? I thought King was about to lose the plot with him. It ended with them all laughing at him after he was eventually cut off after a good 8 minutes of spouting ill informed nonsense. but but but paragraph 161!!!

    Phone ins are for mutants.

It's like the x-factor were they invite on all the gargoyles at the start and everyone laughs at them, it makes good viewing, apparently.

I've listened to a few Scotchy phone ins and they are quite funny. Like you say proper raging lunatics.

Our equivalent is a fella called Nolan for BBC NI who hosts a daily radio show. Most of the people that phone into that are ****in mental.

Imagine the shock you would need to get to drop your outdated handheld radio.

I'm pretty sure that if you even heard New York has been hit with a nuclear bomb you would still be able to grip on to that radio.
