The Newcastle fans on here are a good bunch so hoping that some tribal warfare doesn't come about.

Another plus being that half our first team have played under Pardew, and so will know exactly what to expect... HOOOF!!!

Their fans are very negative about their chances. Think Europe is taking it's toll!

    Hi lads

I'm a Newcastle fan for my sins, and I hope it's a good game Sunday. I fully expect a loss now our 3 most influential players are out in Colo, Cabaye and HBA. Shola is also out which is a blow seeming as he is the focal point when we play hoofball. I think Gutierrez and Cisse will play though. I do follow Saints as they are local and have been over twice this year to watch the Wigan and Man Utd games.

You guys will run riot against our defense as without Colo, we look like we will concede every time the opposition attacks. The only way we will beat you is if we have some extremely good luck. I'm very worried about Lallana/Ramirez as we do struggle against the trickier players in the league.

    Good luck Sunday<ok>

Thanks. With Coloccini, Lambert could also have a field day. He is bound to score against the manager who signed him as well!

Ok everyone is being far to positive Saints will let us down adkins will lose the plot we will lose 3-2 to 2 goals in the last 5 minutes again then i will be wanting adkins to sacked asap.

Only kidding i actually expect us to win and to be fairly comfortable Newcastle are only good when scoring wonder goals and without their best players are there for the taking. I'm even going to predict our first clean sheet.

Regardless of who is missing for Newcastle I still don't think there will be much in it. Pardew will be up for it, and whoever comes into the team, although maybe not as technically good, will be fighting for their place in the team. And on the other hand, you run the risk of underestimating Newcastle because of their problems. I think there will be just the one goal in it either way. Hopeful for a 2-1 win.

Their sick list has the makings of a decent team!

    Hatem Ben Arfa (hamstring)
    Papiss Cisse (thigh)
    Ryan Taylor (knee)
    Dan Gosling (knee)
    Yohan Cabaye (groin)
    Haris Vuckic (knee)
    Shola Ameobi (groin)
    Jonas Gutierrez (knee)
    James Perch (thigh)
    Adam Campbell (neck)

James Perch is injured! How will they cope?

Not very well if you take any notice of the fans on their Board. Some of them are bringing their kit just in case!

They're both going to be very rusty though I'd imagine.
