very good thanks dilli, hope you are too matey anyway, although i think williams shouldnt be spouting such stuff, its his right to do so and the only bit you could twist to make a case against him would be the 'knock him out' bit - thats not on but it depends what context its in.
His timing is awful Swamp and if it had been me advising him I would have said to keep it to himself. Glad you're doing ok mate
Liverpool fans are pretty defensive. They could have a Chairman Mao/Mugabe strike partnership and still defend them. To provide a serious response, writing a book is never the smartest thing to do when still playing, due to the potential problems with the FA and their inability to allow for free thought. I don't think Ash(/or Ghostwriter) has written anything wrong and it isn't really any different to what the typical manager would say after a match. Regarding the "wanting to knock Suarez out," that's clearly used as an expression of anger and/or frustration. Anyone who has read a piece of fiction will understand there's nothing there, only an idiot would see that as even vaguely troubling. All Ash has done is reasonably criticise another professional. There's nothing wrong with that.
ha! well as you may be aware, the tool banned be from another forum for calling sam hamman a man who brought misery to the club, in between licking his arse he found the time to ban me as for his books, he makes fake accounts on amazon to review his own books 5*, a shameless individual.
This book and the publishing of excerpts in the Post is not the smartest thing Ash could have done. Plenty of time to do this at the end of his career. Why give opposition players any additional motivation when playing against you - as if the Prem is not tough enough already.
He didn't do it face to face he did it in a book which was serialised in a national newspaper so there's plenty wrong with it ,which means he also broke an FA guideline and faces possible punishment. Nice bit of advertising for Ash, he'll sell a few more copies now thanks to him using Suarez to do so.
I don't think anyone has realised how foolish Ash would be to attempt to knock Suarez out, so I can't really see him even contemplating it in reality... ...I mean, those gnashers could cause untold damage to the best of fists
Why does he have to do it face to face? Most managers in the league say the same thing, as well as every football supporter who watches the premier league (with the exception of a corner of Liverpool and Dai). Everyone knows that Suarez is a diving cheat, everyone comments on it, yet Ash isn't allowed to and should have told him to his face?
Write to the FA, it's their rules he broke. Suarez has paid his fines and served his ban for breaking their rules, he gets kicked and stamped on almost every week, former referees have spoken about the hidden agenda to not give him free kicks etc, he gets slated on a daily basis in the press, he gets ripped to pieces by opposing supporters in every game. Yet he doesn't moan he just get's on with it, but you are now whining and think it's unfair if your player gets punished for breaking the rules.
How do you know he hasn't done it face to face? Knowing Ash, he probably gave him an earful on the pitch.
There would be no need for agendas or criticism if Suarez was an honest footballer. Obviously he isn't and he's added a bit of nasty to go with his diving. That over the top tackle he made recently was deliberate and shameful. It's a total shame because the guy is a huge talent and we would all sooner be applauding and appreciating that than commenting on his blatant cheating.
Ahh right then, all those games he was was banned for was for spreading the love was it ? Oh yeah.... did Hitler ever admit he wasn't a very nice person ?
Did you comment about Huth stamping on his chest?, or when he was grabbed around the neck by a Norwich defender and refused a blatant penalty?, or when he had a legitimate late winner wrongly ruled out against Everton etc etc etc?, no because it doesn't fit in with the hate campaign surrounding him. He does go to ground easy, he isn't a likeable player for opposing players and supporters, yet every other players cheating habits are overlooked because it's easier to point the finger at Suarez.
Who gives a s*&^! Suarez has that 'Gary Neville Face' thing going on where everyone wants to punch him in the mug. Ash has been a bit silly publishing this book (and like someone already posted: he hasn't finished his career yet) but he is allowed to have an opinion. suarez has undoubted talent but like C. Ronaldo and Drogba before him he needs to stand on his feet and stop diving to get the recognition from non-Liverpool fans that his talent deserves. I never liked the guy after that abysmal handball for Uruguay but he is a damn good player (one of the top ten in the league for me). Ash won't punch him in the face (even though Suarez is a total bell), Suarez will probably score and he will certainly dive. Thems the breaks kids. ps loving the fact that the Liverpool fans are coming here banging on about our small club etc yet we got 4pts off them last season and have already done them in the cup. Liverpool aren't a big club either, they've been ****e for years, have a dilapidated stadium and they are nowhere near winning the league (again). Sorry Liverpool fans but you too are a small club. Christ even Pompey have won an FA cup recently FFS! for big clubs see Man Utd, Chelsea, Man city and Arsenal. Liverpool aren't anywhere near that standard, sorry but it's true. We know we are a small club but we are better than you in the league so far, better in the cup and we don't have the biggest prick since John Terry in our team.
No, it was because he broke FA rule E3(1), look it up and enlighten yourself. The same rule that Rio Ferdinand broke with no ban and that JT broke with a ban half as long as Suarez's, 2 Englishmen found guilty of breaking the same rule yet getting more lenient punishments than a South American player, bit racist that don't you think?, or is it only buck toothed Uruguayan 'racists' you hate?
You're getting mixed up with 'big' and currently successful, two completely different things, unless you define 'big' by current league standings.
Not basing it on current league standings (other than to prove the point against certain fans belittling us because we don't spunk millions on average fodder like Downing, Henderson etc). for me Liverpool have been too far away from winning the league for too long. It's not the 80's anymore! My point about Man Utd etc is that they have success, fans and challenge for the league regularly. That to me is a big club.
So you do base being a big club on current league standings. Since the 80's we've won loads of silverware steve, we've even been Champions of Europe. Definition of a big club? Club market value? Yearly turnover? Global fanbase? Merchandise sales? Nope, steve says it's based on League position.
