That is fair enough ironman and as ever I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion.
I think the branding goes hand in hand with success at the club but clearly that is not working at the moment. I do believe his intentions are good but he has backed the wrong horse in MH.

He has rather wider experience than QPR, which is why I am delighted he's not a 'football man', like Ken Bates or Peter Risdale.

So here we go, the revisionists march in, now hating the manager, players AND owners and apparently having ALWAYS hated them, such is the depth of their wisdom and knowledge. Next the call will go out to the Mittals, despite them making no obvious contribution to the running of the club and Mr Mittals' publicly stated lack of interest in the sport and our team. And when nice guy Amit fails to ride to the rescue, we'll have ALWAYS distrusted him too.

Panic on the streets of W12.

Nice clip Northy, and what a great no bullshit response from TF - a laugh, move on. This bloke is the best thing to happen to us for years. When he does dump Hughes, no chance of him hiding behind press releases and functionaries like the Russian.

SB I don't hate TF, in fact I think he would be a better owner if he was a bit more dislikable.
I just don't think he knows what he's doing and am dismayed at why he's given the "good owner " seal of approval by the fans when he's put our club in a shaky position .

Fair comment mate, as I said, just frustration from a fans point of view. TF has done wonders for the club, we all acknowledge that, except this 'issue' has been going on far too long. I know business is business sometime it takes longer than we had hope, but ....... just wish TF would come out and give us fans something that will give us some hope.

Also, I really don't want us to miss out on a half decent manager because, at the moment, we don't have a manager who is decent, just a half a manager, if that.

    This.

I would love to elaborate, but to do so would give this magnificent post a disservice.

    This.

What has done for us ? hmm Training ground, increased our profile which has attracted "better players" to the club.

Whats his plan ? New Stadium, Youth System and, expanding the global Imagine while not hamstringing us financially.

I think you'll find TF will be feeling just as let down as we do by the Manager. As shown in with Caterham he will give people a chance to walk the walk after they have talked the talk before kicking them out but he isn't scared to get the sacking stick out.

The fact that TF has come back from hundreds of miles away from previous F1 meetings shows he cares about the club and wants what is best for the club. Not many other chairmen would do that! Sacking Hughes now and not having funds available for January would be a disaster, but keeping him and having funds available for January is not such of a disaster. Rather have TF as chairman than RA any day!

Shouted it from the rooftops back in august. It's like a personality cult.

My wife is lovely but I don't want her running QPR.

Investment levels and positive publicity needs suggest there has to be more to TF's stance than blind loyalty to an ineffective management team.

If we've become 'disenchanted' with Hughes & Co as fans, I wouldn't like to think what must really be going on in the minds of the investors. Hardly likely to be as confident as the spirited soundbites make out - but then again, why the need to speak publicly at all?

We hear there was something of a summit meeting between Phil Beard and Hughes last Monday - and the lowest common denominator in press and 'ITK' speculation suggests things are rightly on a knife-edge.

We're clearly on dodgy ground atm... Amit's silence over the past couple of months speaks volumes in itself, though precisely what that means has yet to come out.

More questions than answers if we're being fair.

Case of watch this space but that cannot be a cue to turn on our directors without a lot more information.

You don't need a weather report to see which way the wind is blowing.

Paid to much for hughes, paid to much for this squad(don't forget the board have to sanction transfers), don't like the corporate drivel were fed. Shall I go on?

Thing is if I've never had confidence in someone how the f**k can I turn on them?

Fair enough. Out of curiosity, at what point in the club's history did we have owners and a set up you had confidence in?

Can't agree with that. Way Hughes has done this season at least it will be more of a disaster to keep him. Whichever players he brings in January aren't likely to perform for him as they should, going on what he gets out of our current squad. I'd much prefer a new manager now, and no new players january if that were the choice - which it is probably not.

Honest answer is I'm still waiting.

I don't dislike TF. If I needed someone to run my airline for me he would be near the top of my list. but the bubbly/happy personality portrayed to us looks more and more like a buffoon who's in over his head. He just needs to stop smiling, own up to his mistakes because it's not all Hughes fault.

If he can do these things I will shut up, If he can bring success he can dress as a fairy and dance around the pitch at half time I won't care.

We've been badly run for most if all of my adult life, I'm still to young to remember the good old days. Can't get over the milk cup final, even our promotion back to the prem was screwed up the FA (and Gianni a little bit)

But the best we have been run is sadly Tango & Cash, They had a plan and delivered. Not a popular view but there it is.

Don't want TF out or any thing rash just want him to wake up a bit and realise this is different to anything he's done before. Peace.

Edit: The more I think about it SB the first year of the prem was special the player cared and we could all hold our heads up high.

IMO it is the younger generation on here who are a little bit too quick to be critical of TF, those of us who have been around a little longer appreciate that in business it can sometimes take a while to get everything right. The last time this club had any form of business stability was with Jim Gregory, ok he hired and fired managers with some regularity but the club was not in financial trouble at any stage because he was a sound business man.....just as TF is. I believe he will get it right and it will be sooner rather than later....maybe a week, or month but the right thing will be done and i am sure that somewhere in their business plan they have made some contingency in case the worse comes to the worse and we are relegated.

Just hang on in there, it will be a bumpy ride but that is the QPR way.

TF has vision, passion and a decent financial backing. Pretty much the perfect owner unless your only criteria is success at any price in which case people should think about slinking off to the Bridge. As chairman he must of course take part of the responsibility for the disaster that MH has managed to deliver on the pitch but he can fix that in the longer term if we don't give him reason to just chuck it in. The worst possible thing that could happen to our club would be for TF to walk away. The Indians would not be far behind him.

I'm 25 (hopefully I still coun as young) and i think critiscm of TF is ridiculous.

He backed Hughes financially. If TF had been saying no to Hughes on his chosen targets a lot of people on here would have been moaning saying "who does this non-football man" think he is etc.

Hughes was hired to make the football decisions and TF and Amit's job was to put the money up and help selling the club to the players. They've more than done their job it's Hughes who has let them down.

Anyone moaning at TF needs to get their head checked. Who knows whether the Mittals will walk away. Likelihood is we are down anyway. Does TF really want to fork out another 10 million getting rid of Hughes and co and bringing in a new lot when we are going to lose tens of millions should we get relegated.

Personally i wish Hughes had been sacked but I'm not the one who has to put up millions of pounds of my own money. Pressure should be on Hughes to resign and save our clubs the ten million quid or so we desperately need

Well said PD.....my original comment about age was a bit of a generalisation, but with age comes experience and most of us have seen this all before.....it will get better.
