Hearing some nonsense about Rafa being possibly booed by the chavs cos they didnt want him.

When he wins a few games it was with RDMs team
If he fails at a poison club they were right to not want him then.

Having read a lot of what s posted on the subject on the chav board drogs and 1 or 2 others apart, some of the stuff they say is comic. Tactically inept, poor manager ect ect.

I have to say it, Chelsea fans in general, very few are exempt, know far far less about football than most other fan bases, why, they started supporting them during the successful period a few years back, they're now 15 years old and know fk all, this is the majority of members on their board, its like a whole host of HIAGs, like I said, Drogs and others apart. Even though many, MANY didnt want WOy, we backed him when he got the job until it was clear he could not do the job,

The horrible plastic know-nothing plastic ****s don't deserve him.

His genius and hardwork is wasted on them.

They have no idea at all that if Rafa was given 3 years guaranteed with the amount of money he needs, he would make them the best team in Europe in that time and more league titles and European Cups would follow.

Because of this I hope they do drive him out before he's had a chance to make them near on invincible.

I wasn't up for having him but we have to get on with it, we have good reason to dislike the bloke after the comments he's made in the past.

Booing him does no good though, it's like asking the team to **** up.

I would suggest it means someone who supports a club in another city to their own purely for glory reasons.

drogs you're not plastic cos someone said so above.... nice pat o nthe head for you there wasn't it fella? got annoyed... I suppose i would too.

for the record any fans that pick up a little plastic flag with a little plastic pole lef to ntheir seat for them to create athmosphere are pretty plastic... but i guess the most plastic of all is to rob the image of torres compelte with shankley gates to put up in blue in your ground... that was hilarious... then there was that attempt at a banner in anfield that was so pathetic looking and then your lot held it up upside down...

the point is why not just start wearing red and be done with it <laugh>

You lot should feel lucky to have such a top manager. Don't know why he would take over and only as interim. I love Benitez, hope he ****s you lot over.

I can understand why Chelsea fans dont want Rafa, he has had little digs at them in the past.
They have to get on with it, the venom toward him is over the top but they have just lost a club legend who won the CL so I get why they are pissed off.

This ^ ^ ^ ^. Sad day for football etc. You don't piss on a legend like that, whatever club you support.

I have a mate who's a Chelski fan who has spent a large part of the past 10 years ripping the **** out of Rafa. I'm pissing myself laughing. His comment yesterday, earlier in the day: 'why would we want a Spanish waiter when we're looking for a Head Chef...?' Priceless.

The fact is, Abramovich lacks class. So he picked the right club - Chelsea have always been low rent, even in London circles. And we should never forget this point about Roman A when we are prone to having a go at FSG. GKRK.

  17. I don't agree. A lot of people support a club because their dad, brother, uncle, etc did!

I'm not from Liverpool but nor can I truly remember us winning everything. I can remember it happening but I didn't really get into following footy until the early nineties under Roy Evans mainly. Brilliant glory years them <doh>

I can understand why the Chelsea fans dislike him - because of the comments he made.

If he was disliked because the fans feel that he's a poor manager, then I would seriously question their knowledge.

Either way - Rafa does not care what people think about him. He's a stubborn manager but that is what is required if you manage a club with huge coverage and expectations. He will get on with his job with the upmost professionalism with regards to the playing team and get them winning.

Also, there is a common misconception that he is a defensive manager. It couldn't be further from the truth. His teams are well drilled, organised and tactically astute. We defended extremely well, but kept possession and pressed high up the pitch. We were the top scorers 08/09. However, I don't think you will get the Barca/Arsenal type of football but it's still pleasnig on the eye.

The only concern is that Rafa tends to make sure he can't lose a match rather than go all out for the win. There were times when we felt he could have been more adventorous and this was proven in the second half the 08/09 season when we looked out of the title race but then went crazy and started scoring goals for fun.

Also, he is a long term thinking manager. His work on our academy is brilliant and is his lasting legacy which is evident through the emergence of Sterling, Suso and Wisdom. He brought in some great staff such as Rodolfo Borrell and Pep Segura who had both previously worked at Barca's academy. However, I do not see Rafa as a long term choice for Roman who clearly wants Pep.

I was surprised that Rafa was given the job.Saw an article yesterday but thought NAH surely that is just rubbish BUT there it is.
I've not gone on the Chelsea board but can imagine their fans to be furious Like a lot of us were unhappy when planky (Roy) was brought in we had to get behind him and the team Chelsea fans should do the same. Will be interesting to see what the fans do at their first home game

Oh and good to see Rafa back

Surely they wouldn't boo him? That would be beyond idiotic and I would feel sorry for the decent fans if it did happen.

It's not Rafa's fault they have a spastic of an owner - RA is where the boos should be aimed <ok>
