13:10 Hexham - Rocking and Reelin (Looks a chasing type, might show improvement in first try over the big obstacles?).
Afternoon All, some singles for me today, will start at Hexham 1.10 Surprise Vendor 15/2 I think that this will have no problems with the ground and should push the favourite close as I think the trip might be on the short side for Milano Magic 2.10 Cilliseal 7/2 Seems to enjoy running here, and should be able to get the marathon distace despite the poor ground conditions 2.40 Caught In The Act 9/4 From a yard that is in form at the moment, will enjoy the cut in the ground and won well last time out and can go in again today despite the penalty.
A few market movers today, and with Warwick off it seems the punters are looking at Hexham for their fix... Hexham... 12.40 - Madame Lilibet, 11/2... bet 1.10 - Highrate, 5/2 1.40 - Brieryhill Boy, 7/2... bet 2.10 - Hobbs Dream, 9/4... bet 2.40 - Stormion, 6/1 3.10 - Samson Collognes, 6/4 3.40 - Stanley Bridge, 7/2 Singles n Doubles... Good luck to all who play today...
At Lingfield I like the chances of 1.30 Cativo Cavallino 4/1 Was unlucky in running last time here when forced wide going round the bend which probably cost the horse the race, The 3lb claim of the jockey today will help and with better luck in running can go close not much else to go with at Lingfield although at bigger prices Underwhelm (12.30) and Swiss Cross (2.30) may be worth looking at Kempton tonight and the two I like are Watcheroftheskies (5.30) and Pearl Mix (6.30), both of whom can go close at half decent prices. Off to look at Fairyhouse to see if I can find anything worth backing against the Mullins hotpots
The opener at Fairyhouse sees a seriously short priced Mullins/Walsh combo, however I prefer the chances of the Noel Meade trained Casual Creeper after an impressive second last time out at Navan. At slightly bigger pirce in the same race, Jackemill may give you a good run for your money. The second race should be won by Turban, however, I was really impressed by Kilavalley's win from the front in it's last race and for me and offers much better value today and could take some pegging back if given an easy lead. Shershewill could go well in the 1.45, judging by it's last run at Down Royal. The jockeys claim will also aid its chances in the heavy ground.
afternoon guys, ive picked one at fairyhouse today and that is AUENSCHULTZ in the 1.15....lto it just failed by a nose finishing like a train, today it has barry geraghty on board im hoping that he will go one better and bring home the bacon and at a price of 14/1 is a cracking ew bet imo. good luck if you play
Does anyone know if the Hennessy day at Newbury is likely to be a sell out? Me and my friends are thinking of going but don't know whether it's worth buying tickets in advance or just paying on the day
Me and some mates went to the Hennesey in 2009 to see Denman, we just bought our tickets on the day, I dont think it usually sells out but it is busy.
125/1 nap is running next @ Hexham... Oh, what... bloody clock's slow... Fav turned over by the rank outsider... Missed it...
Trainer of the 125/1 winner just there has just said he has it in an e/w double with 2.40 Hexham Political Paddy 20/1. Thats more than enough for me!
