I hate them. I have a few in my family, it seems everyone does. My grandad is one of these Liverpool 'supporters' and as I sat with him today and had a conversation about Carroll at Liverpool and how **** he's been doing. He claimed that 'It's due to the shock of the Liverpool training that Carroll is playing so poorly.' How can you not hate these people, I'm not saying I hate my grandfather, but his football knowledge makes me ill. Him and other Liverpool fans I speak to will sit there straight faced and blame Kenny Dalglishes worst signing is only doing poor because of how amazing there training is.. Then why has Carroll got slower and more unfit since he's been at Liverpool?
My cousin supported them but all of the family pitched in and converted him to Southampton (his local team and one that i'm actually quite fond of) Some people just know nothing about football, my advice is to just keep nodding
I married a lass from Liverpool. At the weekend they opted at ask how I felt about Carroll. I said I was sorry that he felt he had to leave Newcastle and come out of the closet due to his his love affair with an older man whom he enjoys watching Boyzone with. They now think he is gay. Next character assassination please?
I have low tolerance to this stuff. I refuse to allow someone to think that Carroll is **** because they have a better training scheme to Newcastle who are just a bunch of unfit bastards. They're stupid ****ing bastards, and I can't stand it.
I have hated Liverpool fans for years, simply because they actually think they get a good atmosphere at home all the time. Their home support is **** most of the time and their away fans don't sing unless winning!
Aye, went to the away match with me uncle at the weekend. I was actually shocked with the home support, it was my first match in anfield you see and I was expecting this great atmosphere. They're terrible fans.
I really think (this may sound deluded) we have the best fans in the prem. No matter what we follow our team. We got more people in our ground last season than they can fit in anfield and we where in the Championship!
For one of the (apparently) biggest rivalries in football, Man U and Liverpool are very alike. The majority of their fans are glory hunters. This was evident by the shocking downturn in gates earlier this season when they were doing ****. It is also why the atmospheres at both grounds is rather naff. Liverpool only sing with the help of the tannoy while doing their 'flag/scarf thing' for sky. And the only ones man u can muster are a few they've nicked from us and that nick-nak-paddywhak ****e.
