    From the Daily Mail so probably as accurate as Mike Ashley's tax return but does anybody know who this Frank Tabanou is?

    And is he worth a punt?

    Newcastle are stepping up interest in Toulouse's Franck Tabanou after Arsenal joined the chase for left back Jose Enrique.
    Alan Pardew sees Tabanou, 22, as an ideal replacement and has already opened talks over a bid for the France U21 winger who has excelled at left back after filling in there this season.
    Prospect: Newcastle are keeping tabs on Franck Tabanou
    He has also been watched by Liverpool, but their preference is Enrique.
    However, Arsenal are concerned that Gael Clichy will not sign a new contract and have added Enrique, 25, to a list that includes Everton's Leighton Baines and Celtic's Emilio Izaguirre.

    Plays LB for Toulouse and is deemed a rising young French prospect.

    Tabanou sounds like the sort of name marketing would come up with for a Pineapple flavoured brandy or something like that. Guava maybe!

    Sounds a good prospect, if he is replacing Enrique he needs to be able to get forward as well as Jose so being a former winger implies he could do it, might work well with Jonas.
