I don't even look at Hull's results most of the time and here all of you are debating whether it is more important for you guys to have 3 points taken off teams who your competing with for promotion or have leeds united lose. I think you'd be mad to not want us to win both of the next games but then thats just me
You lot ALWAYS say this as some kind of ultimate insult yet you're in precisely the same situation yourselves with Man Utd. The irony is rather delicious. But of course you' re going to have bigger rivals - you're just 35 miles from another big city in Sheffield and have been at a similar level to their clubs throughout your history - but you're our nearest geographical rival (one can hardly count small towns such as York and Scunny as serious contenders). It is not obvious that we'd look to you? I honestly feel we have suffered throughout our history from not having a genuine 'local rival' as something to spur us on. And anyway, it really did seem to be a bit of an issue with you lot after our early season encounter.
It's too early to entirely rule Leeds out of the play off picture so a couple of draws would be best, not because of any anti-Leeds sentiment.

To be fair, I'm quite sure United see United as a proper rival and vice versa. One just needed to have a look at the posts on red cafe around the times the 2 clubs every played each other, definitely a 2 way thing.

I don't think you'll find a Man Utd fan who would call Leeds a bigger rival to them than Liverpool or Man City. Especially not anymore, you could probably add a couple more teams to that, and it will only keep on increasing the longer Leeds don't have a league game against them for.
