Master Craftsman

I know that I´ve repeatedly
On various Canary sites,
Sung the praises of our Lambert P.
As he´s lifted us all to new heights,
But no praise is really too much
For what this wee Scot has performed,
Who with his unique Midas touch
Has proved a new era has dawned

The scale of just what he has done
Is something still hard to believe,
Two promotions, not even just one
Which for some is too hard to achieve,
And all this without all the pounds
At his back, as some these days do need,
To make progress in leaps and bounds
An incredible achievement indeed

All based on hard work and belief
And getting that message to those,
Who matter, so they take a leaf
Out of his book, so that it shows,
When 90+ minutes are played
It sounds simple and it has been,
But after so long we´ve been made
To wait, it all seems like a dream

I hope that the shock that he gets
When he realises just what he´s done,
Doesn´t leave him with any regrets
For I´m sure that there´s more yet to come,
And if he can add to his flock
So the spirit we have is retained,
One or two, might just get a shock
If at Carrow Road they get caned

So hats off to you Mr. L
I still can´t believe that we´re there,
But the more congrats come, I can tell
It must be the PL next year,
And carry on´s all I can say
I know it´s not something you´ll shirk,
I can´t wait till it gets under way
To see a master craftsman at work. OTBC

 

Absolutely brilliant, RBF, you just keep coming up with the goods. I'm afraid I'm still running around like a kid, I don't think it will sink in until the fixture list comes out

 

I'm not sure it will really set in for me until I hear Lawro on MOTD telling everyone we are really going to struggle! ;-)

 

I think you will do ok and will stay up in about 14th as long as you bring in a few experienced faces so don't listen to what the pundits are saying.

It will be nice to see what Lawro has to say after he predicted we were heading to league two...

 

I can't remember that about Lawro saying that you would be going to League 2, When did he say this.
