Spent a long weekend in Stoke once, went to a club night at the University.

Went to some godforsaken dive in Hanley (?) which apparently was a pub.

I remember it being the ugliest place I think I've ever been, truly bleak.

Air of distrust from the natives, and some real racial tension I think as well.

My mate went to Uni there, he got in various scrapes with various people, but admittedly he is a thorough, utter and outright ****.

I never want to go back, it was an error of judgement to go in the first place.

Honestly mate, I do sometimes wonder about you.

I'd have been in like Flynn.

Like I say, in like Flynn.

Ronnie makes Susan Boyle look like Natalie Imbruglia.

    She looked like early man.

    A bit like Martin Keown.

    I still have nightmares.

Shame on a nigga. Even Susan Boyle deserves it up all entrance ways. Even Anne Robinson would get it. A moist warm fanny is a moist warm fanny, regardless of its host. If you have always followed those standards, you need to sit back and have a long hard look back, reflect on your life.

Unless your Lionel Messi, you don't have the luxury of choosing when to score a goal. You get a chance, you take it.

Don't know about drawing, but the ban makes perfect sense. They go out after losing there's more chance that they'll run into a fan who's pissed off with them, won't go away because they've had too much to drink which causes it all to kick off and people get arrested causing the club problems they just don't need. If they win the fans aren't going to be all that bothered as they'll be in a good mood themselves.

Plus the club supplies their kit/tools (they can use their own boots/shin pads, but if they choose not to the club, or adidas would provide them), and if they're unfit for work they're not allowed to send someone else in their place.

It's the image rights and stuff they run through the books as a business transaction rather than an employment one.

You're right. I need to take stock of my life and wonder why I've never had to go to the clap clinic. I've just not tried hard enough. Sorry.

That's the spirit, wait til you come across a fat bird with a bad case of blue waffle.

You know you've lived once you've witnessed that.

    And appreciate life.

I've woken up next to a few boilers and can honestly say I found it slightly amusing but mostly unpleasant.

Granted I never appeared to learn my lesson and was what can only be described as an occasional repeat offender.

That said I'm maybe being a tad hypocritical when I say that your views are approaching that of a mad man.

The odd 10 to 2er is fair enough but to actively seek them out???

    Sick man.

How did my thread on over zealous football management turn into a discussion about shagging fat birds?

It looks like Tyrone Barnett is on his way to Ipswich.

And Charlton just signed Frimpong from the Gooners.
