I didn't pay that much attention on account of the drink, but 'Murica Good trackkl, good race, good organisation, overtking, great atmosphere and fans. Well done and cheers to th good ol' U S of A.
Hamilton winning. After all the problems he's been having he needed this win badly. You could tell he was pushing like crazy to stay within one second of Vettel and took the opportunity when it came. Awesome.
Vettel and Hamilton for a great fight, pushing each other to the limit. Shows that you do not have to have degrading tyres to have a great race.
Great to see such appreciation of the track. At last, it looks as if F1 has got it right here! It was a great race and I think the track has answered all of its potential critics as well as existing ones. Tilke did a good job here, and he should be congratulated for conceiving such a great 'Turn 1', not to mention other great bits borrowed from other tracks such as Silverstone (if only it was a tiny bit quicker through there!). Despite this, the Champagne moment of this whole, wonderful weekend was, for me, unquestionably Hamilton passing Vettel for the lead.
Again... I can't say enough how happy I am that this race went so well. It leaves Bernie with little reason to pull it. Considering the race was in the south and on the last day of the NASCAR season, the crowd was phenomenal and it looked like everybody was having a great time. This is one very happy U.S. based F1 fan... Then get the cherry on the top with Hamilton winning.
