I must admit Saturdays win at Loftus Road was a HUGELY enjoyable one and right up there with my top days away watching Saints WIN 1. Portsmouth Away 1983 F A Cup - Steve Moran goal 1-0 2. F A Cup Semi Final in 2003 at Villa Park v Watford 2-1 3. Liverpool - 1-0 Steve Moran after Liverpool battered us for 89 mins - 82 or 83 4. Spurs FA Cup 3-1 win Le Tiss got at least one and Wallace 5. Reading Away 2-1 .. 3 or 4 years back - BWP got both and we had over 5,000 fans there Happy Daze ......
That is very true - Really enjoyed yesterday (and the booze!) but game was the usual watching Saints all emotions in the space of 90 mins!! Top day out tho VWS
I've only ever been to two away games. The first was the JPT Final (well it's not a home game), and the other was the promotion winning away game at Plymouth in League 1. Good times.
I was at another away win at QPR in 2007. Rasiak scored, they had what they thought was a late equaliser disallowed, and then Wright-Phillips finished them off. That was a good day.
Not a win but it felt like one: at Oxford United 4 Jan 1969, FA Cup 3rd round. Oxford got an early goal, Saints equalised in injury time and we all went completely mental. That set up a replay which we won 2-0 at the Dell.
Haven't been to an away game since Luton in 2007. Viafara and Saganowski scored that day. My first away game (discounting the FA Cup Semi) was Spurs in that horrendous 5-1 loss.
