Just read on the BBC website 'gossip' page that Paul Lambert is being awarded the 'Freedom of the City. That ought to end the question of him moving on for a while
I can't imagine he will like that, he's been very quick to shy away from being singled out but he should allow himself this honour at least. I think he'll go on to be one of the greatest managers in Europe, can imagine him moving to Dortmund once he feels his job with us is done.
A fair comment, he far too modest a man but I would imagine he will accept it in the usual modest way he does with everything else.
dave i take it you read this as well which was on the gossip page - i wonder if he really said that?!! http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...97/Norwich-tipped-to-make-a-Delia-statue.html
Hi Max, he may well have said it, I would imagine very much tongue in cheek, just to get across how much we owe her, but I don't think for one minute that he actually meant it
It will be interesting to see him every week on MOTD and how he reacts. He is going to be under a lot of pressure an you always see other managers moaning week in week out about bad calls. Lambert doesn't strike me as that kind of manager.
