A view of yesterday's game from a Man U pov! Check the player ratings at the bottom! Were they really that bad?
I think like last year people are saying the opposition were having a bad day or something.... no Norwich played well and made them have a bad day
I think Utd were pretty good in terms of their passing and movement but not in the final third. 50/50 between how we countered them and how they played. It was going to take either a huge mistake or something very special to unlock our back door yesterday so to that effect, we dominated our penalty box and were the better team in that area of the pitch. The rest of the pitch was pretty even with the exception of 1 delightful cross with a resulting delicious header in to the far corner
This one gives the ManUre players even worse ratings - http://www.goal.com/en/match/80936/norwich-city-vs-man-utd/player-ratings!!!
Well over the top reaction from these reports and frustrated knee jerk reactions. Utd were not that bad, we were that good at the back to neutralise them but of course it is an embarrassment to lose to the likes of Norwich City for these big clubs, even on our own patch!
It's the same every f******g time we play well against them...."Oh we had a off day" "didn't play well" etc etc. Well the plain bald truth of it was that we were better than Man U, Bassong totally shut out RvP, and should have a better rating for that. That was their best team apart from Rooney & the GK, and we beat them fair and square. I was sitting there thinking 'they ain't ever going to score against us today' and we could and should have had a couple more. Sad their fans left so quickly, but Yarmouth is a long way to get home!!
Were they really? They acknowledged the victory but all the comments were about how ****e they were; no credit to Norwich not allowing them to play etc
Yep theywere decent on the match thread, the united fans Unlike last year, it was a bit nasty. Guess there is a bit more respect in our second season
