i truely am fed up of Torres now. I've tried to defend him, but he is possibly one of the worst strikers we've had in recent times. He literally did **** all today, except lose the ball. He is ****ing terrible and needs to go in January. At least Sturridge has good movement and speed. And people can say he's over-confident, but at least that means he will shoot. He needs to start instead of Torres now until Jan when we can bring in a world-class striker.
Still with the Sturridge bollocks, he played better today than Torres has all season. Torres has to go, don't know how people can continue to back him.

Did you even watch him? He was quality apart from his finishing, got into every crack and crevice in their defence, brilliant movement and linked up well. However, I do agree BOTH of our current strikers aren't good enough to lead us to glory. As for the last sentence, bollocks.
can't agree more.. used to back him - but that 50 mil did him totally.. Still have pity for Torres - such an excellent player ruined by extravagant spending.. I just don't want him to play for us anymore.. Now - Please, don't buy Falcao for 48 mil or even 40 mil... No player can deliver with those kind of price tags... Falcao would be amazing, but no way for the figures being thrown around. If we could get a Torres + cash deal for him then great, otherwise **** that.
Torres is crap. Sturridge is crap (though better than Torres by a mile). Torres had no shots today. Either way we have Torres vs Juventus which is a disaster.
Watched the entire game, and most of the ones when sturridge has played for us, the amount of times the little **** will only pass when the very last oppontunity for him to score has gone, ie 5 players in his ****ing way, before he will look to pass. Say what you like about torres, he will pass a ball to a fellow teammate if he sees him in a better position. The ****ing idiot trevor francis was going on about how mata and sturridge has a partnership going that was better than mata torres, thats becuase torres had no one passing to him to run onto the ****ing ball, ALL ****ING GAME And lets get one thing ****ing straight , if the REAL DROGBA had of been on that ****ing pitch we would have won FACT!! He is head, shoulders and bollocks better than the both of them, Christ if they put em together they would not be worthy of his left testicle!
But however are biggest problem is that we need a PROPER replacement for JT , becuase the day he retires, our ****ing defence will be well and truly fecked!
at present - look at the fire power of our opposition.. city - aguero, tevez, mario, edin moanure - Robin, Shrek, Danny & Goalpost.. gooners - olivier, pod spuds - defoe, manny west brom - Long & Lukaku even Liverpool - have one very good STRIKER.. us - NONE, NO effing ONE.. and we are in the mix very much.. that says a lot about our team.. still don't believe ours will implode, if we sort out our striking options sooner
One thing's for sure, there cant be a Blue alive that wouldn't give the pair of them for Saurez! To be fair Torres does contribute in other ways, so he gets the nod from me! Oh,and get well soon JT! We're seriously missing you at the back!
It's bliss seeing how badly Torres is doing after he took a massive dump on us when he left. 50 million?! Doubt you'd get more than 15 now. If you got Falcao you wouldn't stop scoring. I think he's fantastic. Would you take an 8 mill bid for Torres from us?
A politician once made this quote before a disarmament conference "Never go into the chamber naked". That is precisely what we decided to do when we chose to start the season with Torres with no credible back-up; a lesson has to learned from this: not to panic-buy for a player who is chronically out of form (they must've been rolling around the boardroom at Anfield when the 50M went through to their account). As I see it we will have to muddle through until the fixture list gets easier; at this rate we'll struggle to hold on to the top 4.......roll on January ASAP!!!
Torress needs to go back to Spain for everyones sake, he has been a total failure under our system of play, and is proof if it were needed, that RA needs to stick to making money and stay away from choosing footballers. Sturridge is not worth 2 bob, but at least Torres has been a great striker, something Sturridge will never be.
