Att times like this, I do wish for the good old days when Flavio would try to avoid a massive pay out by concocting a ludicrous case of gross misconduct. Sadly TF is too nice or naive to go down that route. He will do the honourable thing. Hughes will not do the honourable thing by resigning now and giving a new man a decent chance to save us. My predictied answers to your questions are Yes, No, Yes and Tomorrow. When the options are spelled out to him.
Hughes wont go. Hes probably on £10,000 a week for the marvellous job hes doing so hes probably hoping to see out the remaining 2 years of his contract
Im sure as a Group they will look at the defeat today on Monday and look to improve. he will say that we have colectively a talented group of players. Maybe HUGHES but theres no team spirit and most of the players are more interested in there £70,000 a week being paid into their bank accounts than dying for the club.
Hes on way more than that, hes the 9th highest paid manager in the world. He has to guy, I dont think he will resign but my mate saw him and thinks he will go of his own accord. Id settle for any way of getting rid of him.
I dont think he will resign, after the Fulham debacle, he cannot walk away again from a club, it would make him (even more) unemployable. If he sticks around to be fired, it's win, win for him, as in his eyes, he does not compound a reputation for bailing out and of course, he gets the financial compensation. He will need the latter, as I can see no other premiership or top layer club seeking his services in the future.
I don't think he will get another job even if he is sacked I can see the like of maybe a Stoke or a like maybe going for him in a few years but very little above that.
My fervent wish will not happen...He has vowed to "fight" on...but his team has no fight He is waiting to be sacked to get his golden handshake....He is a mercenary like the rest Sad day
Mark Hughes did say last season that while he was manager QPR would never find themselves in that position again what he forgot to add that they will be down before Christmas. Needed to bring in good central defender in January didn't, also failed to recruit a decent youngish central defender in the Summer, sorry to say that Mark Hughes you have been evicted please leave the building.
Id love for the club to sack him without a payoff for breach of contract or something, he publicly said wed never be in that position under him and he lied so surely hes not doing his job?
