Bollocks you used up all your luck think your gonna really struggle this season. Your teams so overated its unreal.
3 defeats in 7 home games? Not a good sign. I'll wait for the Pardew excuse machine to go into overdrive. It was mentioned by myself at the end of last season that Partridge has a very steady record in management. Always starts brightly; has a major season; immediately followed by a collapse? At least they haven't gone and tied him down to a long contract have they........... pmsl
Haway man, they're the biggest, most famous club in world football history, with the best, most famous fans. Didn't you know that?
Woah, this is a bit strong. We are hardly overrated. I am an emotional type who should avoid forums after a defeat but if I stand back and look at the situation properly, we have had bad luck with injuries. Of course, lack of transfer activity is to blame. We stagnated (personnel wise) which meant we were always going to go backwards somewhat in the league. I am not TTT or Obertans Rancid Toe so you won't get an ott reaction from me bud
Beats blind faith in a man who has only won 1 out of his last 18 games........ EDIT: 3 posts in a row.... For shame. Shall go take a break. Laters xx
Sorry mate wasn't having a go. Think you are a solid mid table team but you did over achieve last season. Still think a lot of your players are overated though.
I know you are a good bloke really bud. I would probably agree with that assessment. Between 8th and 12th is most likely (which is where we have been all season)
So they say. But they also say that luck evens itself out over a season so, if that is also true, there are no good teams??
Only the thick God botherers! No surprise the Thunderbirds puppet's first words and excuses were Senegal and the problems with their half season wonder. hahahahaha
With 3 defeats in 7 home games already and especially to teams like W ham and Swansea, plus a royal humping off Man Utd (don't forget they only lost 3 all season last year) and the fact that only one man seems to be able to score for them (bit like us but we have only had 4 home games), they are o a bit of bother now. With Southampton and Stoke away to come in the next couple of weeks, how long till the cockney mafia out chants are heard on Tyneside once again?
Don't you see?? Our misfiring striker is just what we needed to stop the defeat. Maybe the goal had been replaced with a barn door hence why his exclusion screwed us over....
Out of interest... What's going on with Cisse? Not fit, not interested, ball not falling for him, team not passing to him? None of the above?
Maybe he just got found out in his second season? He offers nothing other than goals. When he is scoring he is dynamite. If he isn't scoring he is just plain ****e. Ba on the other hand is an all round top class footballer as well as a top class striker. He has performed in the last 3 seasons at the same rate of goals to games and his dodgy knee seems just fine. I cant see another transfer window where that £7m buy out isn't challenged and Arsenal or Liverpool don't come calling. If he did leave in January, then I'd be bricking it if I were unlucky enough to be a mag?
Kinda this! He is a goalscorer and that is about it. A better version of Hernandez of Man Utd. If he is not scoring, he is just in the way. Same as last season really.
