Pardew's Long Balls?

Am I the only one who absolutely HATES it when:

a) Willo steps up to launch a long ball when he's in acres of space

b) When we're down and chasing the game/need a goal, Krul pushes the ball and urges his players forward and then proceeds to launch a ball deep
.........................as if we can do anything with that kind of play....I'd rather see us pass it to Santon and co. and move the ball up the pitch(of course, then again, we've no players who can cross)

How about posession? I couldn't give a toss as long as we score more than the other team - see v Swansea last season!

Don't believe all the hype/hysteria all the time - enjoy the ride!

 

No I cringe everytime the ball goes near Willo. I have no confidence in the lad.

 

Basically why I'm a bit defensive of Pardew on these matters. I'm sure he is just as frustrated. Krul can change though with work. Willo, for all he gives everything he has, is at his max and is what he is now.
