Seems odd for this to come out a day before the biggest game of our season yet.

I can only really see this having an ounce of truth if Hughes fails to win tomo.

I'll believe it when I see it, but if it is true I would have very mixed feelings. On the one hand it's hard not to like the old school charm of a gaffer like Rednap. On the other hand though we've got an expensive new training ground, an expensive new stadium in the pipeline, and a big wage bill with a small gate. If Harry did come in no doubt he would want to overhaul the squad again. There's a real danger of us doing a Portsmouth, especially if results don't come quickly and we go down. :(

Having read the entire thread I am now having serious doubts about Redknapp. I would prefer Benitez long term but have said that 'Arry might be the bloke to keep us up, perhaps on a short-term contract. Now I just don't know (a reoccurring theme with me at the moment!!).

Really can't believe that this same **** is still going on.Well done Cerny for getting so many responses, from such a futile thread, yet again. How people can continually bite is beyond me.Hughes getting the sack, never. No win all season, mmm let me see, hard to predict he might get the bullet.Harry, out of work and high profile.Could be looking for a job in the Prem, preferably with a london club.Yep,another monumental slice of Nostradamus like work from the ITK magician.Just off to slit my wrists, hope to come round Monday morning,by which time arry would of been installed as saviour!aarrgghh.

Not wanting Arry is about the only thing I am sure about - he's a wrong 'un, with an inflated record. Of course if he does come I will have to give him the benefit and hope that he delivers.

And I've quite enjoyed the opportunity of running Arry down Hammy, even though I strongly suspect this is all bollocks. Does no harm mate, and Cerny Squirrel was pretty transparent this time.

I can't see that you gave my comments a fair review and think you're somewhat blinded by your hate of Hughes.

Prep is part of the game. As is coaching. Telling people to do the right things may be confusing and unnatural leading to your stated errors at first but repetition makes them become instinctive over time. Whether Hughes is applying this correctly or not is a different matter but I'm sure you know all this.

My point about Taarabt is that, in 2.5 years he's progressed massively. Harry knew the potential and didn't think he could get the most out of the lad. Somehow our two less regarded managers have done exactly this.

His squad left players unhappy and Bent and Berbatov hit over 20 goals in their first seasons after moving I think. They were a great squad but never used and so unready at the time of need.

God forbid, if we find ourselves languishing in a lower league with Cisse and Zamora's wages crippling us then I sincerely hope you won't blame Hughes.

My key point is that Harry Redknapp would fail to meet the expectations of us fans if he was judged in the same way as Hughes is at the moment.

The majority desire to get shot of Sparky should not be done at the expense of getting the right man in otherwise we're merely lurching from one problem to the next.

Also, a change of boss should not come at the expense of everything we're trying to build behind the scenes.

I like the SR reincarnation - a much more rounded and engaging character.

Keep posting mate and it doesn't matter where the info comes from (considering the papers' ability to get things right).

Keeps us talking doesn't it? :)

Standard Secret Ranger post- an educated guess basically. If we win then well of course he wont get sacked and SR can hide behind that, if we lose then the ground will be roaring for his head and a sacking is likely and Arry the likely candidate

I'm sitting with the prawn sandwich brigade in W12 on Saturday and likelihood is i'll be in C-Club afterwards fully intend to let Hughes know what I think of him should he make an appearance

Not knowing much about eithers quality in youth development I would find it difficult to have a preference as it is in that area that the long term fortunes at QPR lay. I think recent weeks have shown Hughes to be open to suggestion (playing Grenaro, Diakete and Faulin in the midfield), something Redknapp didn't do with Defoe and Dawson. Its a balancing trick as to how long a manager should be given, no one can honestly know when the right time is as we do not have the advantage of hindsight.

All we can be sure of is that without our 100% support we are placing added pressure on the team and potentially pissing the players off so that they don't give 100%. Sing your hearts out for the lads tomorrow, Southampton are the enemy, we need to stick it up em! God bless QPR and all who are an R

Well we know we make a massive difference mate, look what we did to Chelsea last year!! Loftus Rd can be a cauldron of fear for visiting teams and it must be that way tomorrow. My prediction for tomorrow 4-1, Nelson to score from a corner, Cisse 2 and Adel the other, Granero MOM.
