New Threads.

Anybody not actually posted a Thread yet?

Things are a bit slow at the moment so why don't you give it a try? It's a good opportunity for newer members to give it a go.

I'm sure everybody will appreciate the fact that it's your first thread and take it easy on you.

I'll give you top marks no matter what it's like, so you won't go down with a zero rating.

 

All this time I thought I was getting high marks because people respected my opinion and the nature of my articles... Now I learn you give out 5 stars to any Tom, Katmandu or Harry, you hussy!

 

I know, it's terrible isn't it!

 

The idea of the thread was to encourage the people browsing the threads to come aboard and introduce themselves and start posting on the forum. Quite a few of them seemed to be there every day. One called ToonSingh or something like that, was a daily visitor but never once came on board. Seems a pity to be so near and yet so far, could have been one of the gang by now.

I'm here. (again). I'm sitting bored in Qatar looking out on a dramatic high rise horizon full of lights and speeding cars. Umpteen floors up with an outlook on at least 20 construction projects. Gin in hand and waiting for my German pals to come and watch the internationals tonight. They are bringing German delecacies (god knows) hope they are fraulines with sausages and saurkraut, plenty beer and bazzoomas to die for. (tight troozas n that). Probably look like miss piggy though. As long as it's not cucumber in oil. With raw fish. I have kebabs ready just in case.

 

Fraulines with sausages and sauerkraut sounds good.

 

Aye, but will it pan out. These sausages have to be authentic. (smuggled in goods). I made sausage rolls for their bait today with authentic geordie butcher sausage. I have a haggis stashed as well. Some pork chops and black pud.. Just waiting for the right girl.

 

I believe the German term for that would be "Zwitter"

I wonder how many avid readers there are out there who have never signed up, but know our different personalities (and my many) from our posts, and enjoy looking at our stuff...


Yeah... I think none as well... I blame ACS for his constant petitioning to make this a ginger-female-only club!

 

I think Toon_D is doing his best to keep ACS happy.

 

I also like your style of keep changing user name so it 'appears' there are more people posting. May have to do the same.

Just thought the board was so quiet it might be an idea to get some of the people that just browse over the threads instead of taking part on them, to come aboard and say what they think of things and become part of the family.

Or maybe they are just spies sent as an advance scouting party before the rest of the Androminonian (or whatever) invasion forces come to annihilate us. It would make sense that they would be sent here first to check up on the world's elite TOON ARMY! Oh my, I've seen too many Mrtiote posts haven't I.

 

Talking about sausages, a young Polish couple working in a Pizza parlour gave me a pack of Polish sausages called Sokolow, have you heard of them before? Will they make me talk funny if I eat them?

No, but you might feel an urge to wash them down with a litre of vodka.

 

Gave them a bottle of Polish Vodka that somebody had given me, don't drink the stuff.
