Rumour on Twitter. I know most aren't interested in Twitter etc, but talk of oneil leaving. Decision to be made on sunday. Talk that he only goes to training 2 days a week. Can't see it myself but wondered if anyone knows if the 2 days training is true?

I don't believe it to be genuine - if it were to happen there would be no rumours - it would not break like this.
I heard a rumour a few weeks back that his wife was very poorly again, but as far as I'm concerned, just like the original post, it is only a rumour, and until I see/hear anything official, I will treat them with a pinch of salt.
Its from a guy called Johnno909 who spouted all the transfer bollocks in.the summer. Im sure some on.here speculated he was a former Sunderland supporting Newcastle player, Robinson????
I'll grant you he was hit and miss this summer. The Dempsey stuff sounded iffy but he called rose and Aj before they signed. I'd take it with a pinch of salt but wouldn't be shocked if there was something to it. I like Mon but the way he left villa made me wonder if there's a bottler in there somewhere. Hopefully not true and he turns us around sharpish though.
He's suggesting its non football related which immediately makes you think of his wife given her health concerns in the past. Im calling it bollocks having heard from Mons mouth he'll make a team we are proud of by hook or by crook less than a week ago. Suggests he sees himself here for the next few years. The guy even gave himself an out by saying if Mon decides to stay on Sunday we'll never hear anything about it.
If he goes soon, I hope it's not because of us sacking him. Let's be honest, who'd realistically do a better job than him at the moment who would come to us? With the right backing, O'Neill's a top 6 manager, we've seen that already. He's only been here half a season, give him a break! I for one hope he stays in it for the long haul.
