The one good thing about this game is that it's usually played with a degree of respect and sportsmanship. Not like United v Arsenal; United v Chelsea games of old. How Spurs do depends on AVB's approach. If AVB is positive and goes out to win like he did at OT I also see Spurs winning, if he plays not to lose like at City then Arsenal are the only winner for me. I fear the latter. But beating Arsenal is a huge incentive for AVB to win over critics and doubters. This is the biggest NLD in ages. Arsenal lose, then I think even the most ardent Wenger fans would lose/begin to lose faith in him. That 5-2 last season saved your season, but then the 2-1 in 09/10 saved Spurs season which looked to be going down the toilet. If Spurs lose I don't think it would be the end of the world but if Arsenal lose it's difficult to see this transitional Arsenal side being able to pick themselves up from this.
Colin you cheeky fooker! I'm northern too! I feel the pain bro about the NLD...but I just have to suffer it...I have to watch it and I have to have my fix of Spurs ****ing with my emotions.

Sh*tting my pants if I'm honest over this one. Both teams NEED a win to stay amongst the top group. I think the NLD is probably the biggest rivalry in the country. No doubt my opinion is biased but there's so much hatred between the fans that losing the game feels like the end of the world and winning feels like what I'd expect to feel when I've won jackpot on the Lotto. Naturally Arsenal will be slight favourites, both teams are in sh*t form so it'll either prove to be the catalyst to an amazing high scoring game of 5-4 or both will just continue form and play out a 0-0 draw. Can't see this one being a 1-0/ 2-1. If we have Dembele back and Lennon & Defoe are just minor knocks causing them to miss only the England game (hopefully it's just mind games anyway) then we'll have a decent chance provided we play 4-4-2. I don't think 4-5-1 will work, both teams like having too much posession yet aren't doing much with it, so I think the advantage will go to the stronger attack, especially as we both have shocking defensive issues and so if we have Ade and Defoe starting (which I'd rate that higher than Giroud and Podolski) then I think we'd have a slight edge. Very tough call though. COYS!!!
We'll lose, AVB will pick another dumb team and that will be that. Good luck to our travelling support, I hope they get their money's worth but at £60+ a ticket I doubt they will.
ermm... did you mean "Notso finding spurlock on the beach", Spurf? that guy's facial expression + the use of "coming across" =
