Chelsea have never, ever lost to Leeds in a cup match of any description and the chance to go there and rub Warnocks despicable gob in it will be almost a bigger buzz than winning the champions league. Defo going to this.

Definitely going to this. Demand will be huge. Just hope they don't **** us over even more by reducing the allocation. Will be tasty for sure.

There are Leeds fans saying there is no way we can take 5000 or 6000 up there! I can tell you all that we could take 10,000 up there if we were given the allocation! Everyone wants tickets for this. This is going to be one hell of a cracking atmosphere no question. I wonder how many tickets we'll be given?

I expect you'll get the reduced 3000ish allocation after the police intervene. They'll be cracking down after our recent incident at Hillsboro. I think you might just be able to sell that out with it being your cup final...

I wonder if Leeds can sell out their ground.

For a one club city their home crowds are very poor when you compare their crowds to the amount of people that attend football in Sheffield, Manchester or Liverpool.

I wonder what other clubs fans in Leeds support or what lads do instead of watching football in a city with a population bigger than liverpool.

I know no one had interest in football in Leeds until the 60s, and the club have little history: formed in 1919 getting sub 10k crowds pre Revie but it is strange how poor their home crowds aRE; some of the worst in Europe for a city that big

We would sell out 6000 easily so you do the maths and see if we could sell out 3000!

Under FA rules all away sides up to and including the 6th round are entitled to apply for15% of capacity! Elland Rd is the 12th largest ground in the League with a capacity of 37,900, so by my reckoning we are entitled to apply for 5,585 tickets!

This is ridiculous! If Leeds police end up getting their way, where will it lead to? At least 20% of all league fixtues could be marked out for this sort of treatment! Personally--I would refuse to attend any such game and then actively campaign against the police action. The police must remember, if they want the government to protect their jobs this kind of action wont help their case!

West Yorkshire Police are scum and will do anything to make a job less hassle for themselves, regardless of whether it's a football fan's human/civil right or not.

The allocation you can apply for is about 5,500 tickets, which means you'll get the south half of the West Stand (3,500) and probably the bottom tier of the South Stand like Everton got (2,000). Shame because the banter would have been class if the club allowed you to have both tiers of half the South Stand and the same for us at the other side, although I suspect much loose change would be traded if that were the case.

Hope it's not a bubble trip, but I'm sure there'll be animosity in the air regardless. The article is slightly inaccurate because the vouchers are exchanged for match tickets at a service station somewhere near Wakefield when Millwall and Cardiff come, rather than at the away club's ground where coaches depart from. Still gay as ****.

To all those wanting tickets and wondering when ticket news will be released.....

I spoke to Chelsea ticket office this afternoon and they still have no idea as to what allocation we will get or if it will be a bubble match. I then spoke to the Leeds ticket office who tried to help and they said they were expecting to hear from the police next week...

You've got our whole south stand and about a third of the west stand. Thats at least 5,000, should be a cracker.

You've boycotted every game since your crying about Bates. You've not sold out a game all season and you and I both know you'll sell out this one. It's your cup final not ours, and we all know how Leeds do in Cup Finals against Chelsea :)

Nah District, doubt we will sell this out. Boycotters like me are coming out for it due to it being an exceptional circumstance, but people will still stay away like they did for Everton and Man U (who mean more to us than Chelsea).

Bates has crushed the enthusiasm even for big games like this one, for the levels it should be at.

I don't think you will sell out either... you have got all the stands open though... Should be a cracking atmosphere providing we get the full allocation. Even if we take 3500 it will be a great occasion.
