It does not matter who the manager is you call for his head....dont you guys realize that any manager you will get will still be in the same boat as long as papa smurf is calling the shots....you have had some good managers who through no fault of their own has been given little money to work with..what are they suppose to do without hard cash and 100% backing from papa.......you can call for the managers head till the cows come home but you wont get anywhere until the main stumbling block is removed and that is Bates....

Some of my mates are Millwall fans and we always have a bit of a laugh when we play each other.

I always fancy our chances against your lot but I got to say I wouldn't fancy our chances against anybody just at the moment.

Especially with Austin out! He is one of our few players (perhaps only player) who looks like he can take a game by the scruff of the neck.

Oh well, may the worst team win, lol.

Fair comment Jock. Johnny, the season is not over for us yet, although Saturday did not help our cause. 6-1 did not reflect our true performance. We could easily have had a couple of goals in the first half an hour had Varney's finishing been a bit better.

Let's just calm down & see what happens over the next few weeks. A new manager would only change things & bring in a few new players who would take time to bed in. Ross & Somma will be returning sometime soon. Poleon will return from his loan move. Hall is now fit enough to start & should be unleased against the 'Wall on Sunday. Time to get behind the Manager & the team. MOT

I realised this a while ago, some still refuse to take this on board and don't see how bates actions heavily influence the decisions of a manager to the point where not everything that happens is the managers fault.

A complete knee-jerk reaction. Who knows what Warnock can do with adequate support

Oh and "literally over" means the season ***IS*** over.

It's not as a brief glance at the fixture list will reveal

I dont believe the season is over - i still feel we can get dragged into a relegation scrap under Bates and Warnock!!! Bates needs to hurry the **** up in selling to people with ambition and then they can get their own man in, hopefully a youngster with a bit of life in them i.e, Di Canio or maybe Owen Coyle.

You can't blame warnock for this so far disastrous season. If you look at the squad we have now compared to the one grayson has had in the last 3 years it's obvious why grayson had leeds competing for the play-offs. Admittedly Grayson should never have been sacked in the first place but i don't believe that many managers would have had this Leeds team anywhere near the top six, let alone the top half. The squad is lower mid table standard and having McCormack out for the majority of the season and now Rudy hasn't helped. I hate fickle Leeds fans that want him out just because we're going through a sticky phase. If the takeover goes through and sufficient funds are avilable in January we might be able to loan some top players and sign a few top championship players. But i'm not going to lie, the way things are going i would happy if Leeds ended the calender year above 18th. But i like i said Leeds lost players in the summer, like, Snodgrass, Howson and clayton, by doing that our midfield turned from one the leagues strongest to one of the weakest... In warnock we trust. I'd rather have a manager who tries to play decent stuff...even if we still lost at the end of it.

Logi - spot on. Warnock doesn't help his cause by playing dreadful football.

This is my gripe, I can accept a defeat if we matched or bettered the opposition but we are getting both beat and playing dire quality football. YES I would take hoof ball and 3 points every match but that isn't happening, at least if you are the better quality team you know a possible win is just around the corner. At the moment I can't see where our next 3 points is going to come from.

All you fickle ****s can **** off. I'm sick of this as soon as we ever hit a rough pack we self destruct and make stupid demands like sack the manager. Saying we haven't played decent football all season obviously don't go to alot of games. Even today up until we lost the men and the first goal (offside btw) we played decent passing football and were attacking pretty dominantly. Infact that was the entire game even when we got the goal we played better than them but as soon as we lost the ball they just hufffed it up to a forward who had little work to do since we only had 9 men. Thats how they got like 90% of there goals. Also what about Wolves at start of season, Blackburn, Forest ect. Our fans are so fickle it's a joke. Last season "becchio is ****" "becchio is past it" "get rid of him" scores opening day against wolves "becchio is a legend" "becchio super striker".

Same with paddy kenny. Saves penalty against Brighton "legend" "amazing keeper" then Watford and people are saying hes **** and ashdown should replace him even when most of the goals were from 20 yards out and there wasn't much he could do bout em. Now its Warnock start of season he's a magician, he's gunna get us up despite knowing he'd get peanuts (and don't say Peltier, Austin cos not only did we get 2 mil from GHF we also sold Snoddy and Clayton so where has it all gone apart from the odd couple of thousand pounds signing) now it's he doesn't know how to play good football (yeah cos he's full of flair players with stunning skill and amazing passing wake up without mccormack and austin we have a bunch of 30+ pompey rejects who can barely shoot and pass what did u expect him to make us barca?).

Thought I'd go back and have a look at this thread. Of all the 'red face' comments, Boab's was my favourite. Still think the same, Boab?

the thing is, the squad was never bad, warnock just needed the extra 2 or 3 players. and now we have them, you can see the difference!

which is EXACTLY what he said, BEFORE he started his bad run. With NW you will get what you pay for - if he gets the support, he can get us up.
