Put himself about well and should have bagged himself a goal towards the end of the game.

Your midfield is far too good to be by passed in that way.

Lack of imagination from set pieces seems to be endemic in the Premiership this season - are the defenders getting the upper hand too often or is it the quality of the delivery, how many times do you see a corner not getting over the first defender?

half decent TBH. He was playing at CB for big bits of the game as well.
Got a few boos but not as bad as the Liverpool game.
Nolan got a lot of support from our fans.

Results like this have been coming, we're yet to play a single game in the league this season where you can say "we played well today". The quality is still there but it seems unable to manifest itself and the crowd are beginning to expect poor performances (Which doesn't help the team at all). Still think we'll get top 10, but it'd be nice to see us play well for once.

I think Sunderland fans can empathise!! (Nolan didn't celebrate btw).

I don't mind Nolan, Carroll or West Ham but Fat Sam is surely just there to be disliked. He's a good manager but thinks he's the best in the world, i mean seriously would you have him at Sunderland? The football we played under him was some of the worst I've ever seen and that includes international tournaments!

I bet he nicked it as well, wouldn't be surprising from one of those underhanded Scouse/Geordie hybrids. Heard he was out in the town with Steve Bruce, Chopra and Lee Clark the night before having a good laugh about how much pain they've caused good for honest Mackems down the years, can't stand these devious Geordie bastards personally...

Mate of mine went to the doctors to get a sore throat checked out recently and ended up getting a prostate exam done by him. He said he was the doctor. Devious Geordie Bastard.

Not having a pop mate but have noticed that a lot.
You have a couple of players in MF who are game changers and you are bypassing them.
They are having to try to get into the game through graft rather than being passed in.

Nolan may not have done the chicken dance but there was a wicked smirk crossed his juice when the players ran to congratulate him.
Respect to Carole he was clearly trying his hardest for the team that pays his wages.

Our mid field at times might as well not be there. They are left completely redundant when turning defence into attack because Williamson puts his ****ing foot straight through the ball in an attempt to hit the forwards. A completely useless tactic against a fat Sam side. 442 isn't gettin the best out of our creative players
