Back in '68 I used to go to a sweaty club. It was before Jimmy's Machine and The Rocksteady Rub. Anyway, on a night when flowers didn't suit my shoes and after a week of flunkin' and bunkin' school. The lowest head in the crowd that night, just practicin' steps and keepin' outta the fights Academic inspiration.....you know the rest I'm sure.
sadly most people say that, yet as they made all the pre-cursors to make it controlled substances in 2008 hardly anyone can get REAL mdma in britain, they just think they can, bet you get downers afterwards (something I never had with real MDMA)
Any of you old ravers heard the news about DJ SY? Im too young for the 90's rave scene. Had to make do with Wigan Pier, Maximes and Monroes and our pills while not as good as the 90's stuff ( so I am told ) **** all over the stuff today when you hear about people taking 20 a night Got a lad on my facebook from the north east who I believe used to be involved in the Hanger 13 stuff. Puts on a lot of events for Makina and rave music. Just done a warehouse style event covering North East raving from 94 onwards and seems it was rammed.
MC Storm posted on his twat page about him being a ***** and being on the sex offenders register.... SY put on his facebook he received a caution 5 years ago for have a picture of 2 non nude 16 year olds and a video of 2 topless 16 year olds. He said he was given a caution and not put on the register. The promoters at Fantazia/Bowlers have backed SY and hes still on the NYE line up but Hardcore till I die and Hardcore Heaven amongst others have removed him from their line ups. The word is Storm and SY have fallen out and this is Storms way of getting one up on DJ SY. From what I can tell theres nothing to suggest SY has done anything bar what hes admitted and not what Storm has claimed. I dont even like Hardcore and only know of this as its all over ****ing facebook.
aye i seen it this morning somewhere, im too old for all that uk hardcore and hardstyle pish anyway, proper raves died in the early 90s when all the super clubs and there superstar djs started churning out commercial trance nonsense.
Classic : I was listening to the whole dexys album last night, gets a fairly frequent airing at roguetowers, then a bit of the ram jam band.
Before commercial trance about midway through 1992 when DJs started playing what I call "Fairground Techno".
so you can **** a 16yr old quite legally, but take a photo and you're a *****, how does that work exactly?
I used to be into the free party scene rather than the clubs and arenas. Some of the best nights I have ever been to in my life, and some of the best, and worst, tablets I ever took. Some of the best Techno in the UK used to come out of Scotland Got into Drum and Bass by 98 as the trance scene did my head in...judge jules still ranks as a total **** in my eyes.
Used to do acid in the late 60s and early 70s. It was a right old blast. Then there were the mushies. Horrid stuff but got you well away.

Wonder if a decent survey has been done to see what percentage of teenagers use weed on a weekly basis?
Is there a good kind?? Used to love the Orbital, sunrise and Helter Skelter parties. Preferred progressive trance to hardcore, with Tiesto playing a banging set as the sun rised at Space.
